Where are the socialists

My opinion differs.

Its not a fact that communism doesn't work-its an opinion.

As opposed to reiterating yourself, please tell me why it works. There are no examples to choose from.

Socialism works because its an equal and fair state where everyone works together, not against each other.

Examples: Canada, China, Mitterand France, Sweden, etc..

It's not an opinion. It's a fact. The fact that they are flawed is shown by their inability to stay in power for a prolonged period of time without major changes. Communism relies on human infability. Obviously, the world is far from completly honest. The entire theory of communism is built on this wishful thinking that everyone will commune and do as they are told to. People don't. Communism just doesn't work

But Communism actually would've worked had people not lost there interest in what they were doing. If in the future the socialist government provides rewards of some sort and motivation for extremely hard work, then the system will work.

China isn't a great example, it is a combination of Stalinist(state-owned) and capitalist(privately-owned), and has a repressive govt.

The other countried you listed are Democratic Socialist, a combination of capitalism and socialism.

Democratic Socialists fall under the category of general socialism since they ususally just take freedom of speech and the bill of rights and etc.. from capitalism

No, they still have markets, free speech etc. etc. doesn't come from capitalism, but from humanity.

Well cuba's a good exception there. Another thing to consider is that most comunist leaders find themselves overthrown by the c.i.a sooner or later

I was actually sorta torn between moderate anarchism and socialism and I kinda settled on the extreme moderate form of socialism because I found it both realistic and satisfactory in terms of, not eliminating, but reducing problems such as poverty and war.

I've alerted the oxymoron police, they'll be along shortly.
