I dont know how exactly the system in USA works but have a question.

Trump ruined the German - American relations. Biden already said it will be his first task to repair that relation. Lets say Trump loses in November, could he still try to use those two months
to cause more havor and damage to the relations or would he basicly be unable to do that?

Depends if he was voted, or CHEATED out of office.

I seem to recall him saying to reporters at the lawn, that if he's defeated in a fair election - he said they won't hear from him again.

Yes. If Biden wins, Trump will still be the president until January 20th 2021.

Yes, what he could do in those last two months could be catastrophic. For example, it's not only possible but likely that he could pull the US out of NATO. However, this could be looked at not as US policy but as the last act of an agent of a chaos, and I think it's likely that all parties would agree to overturn that decision once Biden is inaugurated.

Be worried. Be VERY worried.

If Trump loses in November, your German world will come to an end.

Potus cannot withdraw from a formal treaty without the consent of Congress.

Congress is the final authority in treaty matters, either way.

The present Congress exits office January 3rd 2021 and it would never consent to a USA withdrawal from Nato. Neither would the succeeding Congress agree to such a mad idea. Scotus said decades ago a treaty is a political question and not a judicial one.

Biden has said already he would "review" Trump's anti-American order to remove 12K troops from Germany.

Trump has a 73.6% chance of winning re-election based on encumbancy alone.

What are the chances of Trump admitting that? Even when he won he still claimed the election was a fraud..

If we are limiting the chances of winning to a single factor, then he has 0% chance of winning re-election based on his impeachment alone.

No one who has been impeached has ever won a presidential election.

The point is that Trump's chances of winning are not 70% or 0% because impeachment and incumbency alone are not the only factors.

Okay even if the impeachment never went through, and it is a very dubious impeachment? I don't think impeachment happens enough to get a reliable metric but I do get your point not to get caught up in statistics too much if that's what you mean.

Of course Donald Trump WILL cause havoc. The only way to stop that is assassinate him, which I would never recommend doing for obvious reasons. So we will have to put up with his crap until January 20, 2021 if Joe Biden wins.

Andrew Johnson died in office. Bill Clinton was in his second term. Donald Trump is the third President to be impeached.

They say here when he loses he might even order terror attacks on your allied nations.

Win or lose, Donald Trump will be my president until January 20, 2021 at 12:00 ET (six hours behind you). What he wants to do is reject the election results and try to stay in office longer by suing a state over absentee ballot counts. You wouldn't want to live here right now because of that idiot alone.

Are there security balances that would stop him ordering crazy stuff?

I will let you know after I vote how it works in my state. This will be the first time I cast my votes at home because in the past I could always walk to my polling place. Keep in mind America has 50 states and Washington DC voters also have their own ballots.

Trump defines what is a fair election.

He'll probably pardon a bunch of people who don't deserve it, spill state secrets to Putin, and then rage quit on Jan. 19 so Pence can pre-pardon him.

Of course he will create havoc, he's doing that now and he's president..

But if he loses, and the GOP loses the Senate and the dems hold onto the House? My God, the GOP, Trump and their traitors in the Conservative media will unleash a 'scorched earth policy' on the country.

I really hope so, because those “Trump” decisions will be catastrophic for the world and ... also for America, because less and less people will buy American products as I heard recently from our friends in the Netherlands and in England.
