Trump already showed us we don't have to "force" anything. We just have to make it worth their while.

But then, some people...you, apparently...think force is the answer. I don't.
Logically, we simply cannot beat the prices of labor, real estate, raw materials, rent, permitting available in places like China, Vietnam, etc. Donald made claims he couldn't fulfill. The only way to bring manufacturing back is to subsidize manufacturing... In other words, pay them with public funds. That's just the sad reality of it, Mycroft.

Not true.

Trump induced American companies to return to the US and he also induced foreign companies to invest in the US.

I'd say that's leading by example.
What does the tag on your MAGA hat say?

Trump already proved this nonsense to be wrong.

How.... How did Donald "prove" that? You see, I know you have no idea what your talking about because Donald failed miserably at his claim that he could bring manufacturing back. All he actually accomplished was initiating tariffs. Which were a complete failure. You know why? Because tariffs are nothing more than a back handed tax on the end use ( The American consumer). It's funny that you think Donald succeeded.

Did you even read your article? Trump didn't do anything. It was the EU.

Are you suggesting that we freedom living Americans pass a law that takes away the freedom of corporations to conduct business in any country they choose? THAT would be un American
Screwing Americans out of jobs then providing a corporation with a preferential tax code is certainly un-American. Because the country that became home to a USA corporation refused to offer any type of preferential tax code/break.

Yet the USA government is supporting the fascist dictator.............. UN-AMERICAN A fascist dictator is the
enemy.

You can either allow American companies the freedom to operate how they choose or not. America cannot compete against certain countries because operating cost here are ridiculously high. I didn't make the rules. I just live here.

They have the freedom to operate how they choose, they just shouldn't have a U.S. tax break while operating in other countries. They are certainly free to choose which they want.

Well, the way it is now, "The United States' worldwide system of corporate taxation requires multinational corporations to pay taxes twice, first to the foreign country in which they do business and then to the IRS after they repatriate their profits."
