Mine is a 1942 Springfield M1 Garand use in WWII
(not my pic)

My "wish for" would have to be a Kentucky/Pennsylvania long rifle used in the
American Revolutionary War, my next “wish for’ would be a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver used in the Civil war.

Im not much for rifles or sentimentality. Once I get my concealed carry permit I'll shell out the $$ for my Glock 17-C:

Until then, this is my only arm:

Some of my shooting range friends swear that once I purchase my first, I'll be addicted, I would hope not. Expensive hobby, and there are very many nice ones out there.

Hell, I have a smith and wesson 9mm. I have two clips that holds 15 shots. I feel the more bullets I have, The more people I can shooot. so that said, if there are seven of you against me, 7 of you are going to get 2 bullets a piece and one lucky person will get three. "Hello, I love that right to bear arms ****" :gunsmilie

"You cant hit me, look at you, you're drunk. You're probably see'ing double"

"Thats why i've got two guns, one for the both of ya!" - Doc Holiday

The M1 Garand rocks. I once saw a D-day 60th edition M1 Garand with a darker color to it. It looks a lot like a prop from Saving Private Ryan. After a few minutes of google research I found out the M1 Garand was never produced in dark colors until 45. Liars!

Color of the wood isn’t any good for dating the weapon.
(While some after 1945 were done in a black wood finish)

Things to have to look at are do all the serial numbers match, what’s the date on the barrel, What year does the serial numbers give?

You also have to remember that GM, IBM,Winchester and Singer Sewing machine CO all made the Garands.

Cherokee,

I like that you sport your Marine badge. Hell, I am a Marine also. And lets not get the manner in wich I chose to respond to the original topic of discussion twisted. I can shoot as many people I like, if threatened. And that is coming from a person that has tasted both the South and the North. I guess you can say that I have a country boy heart with city boy style!!!!!!
Next, every Marine is a basic rifleman, and I can guarantee, I can sling rounds down range with the best of them!!!!!!! :bringit

I see you added the “If threatened” You didn’t say that before. It was the bullshit remark “I can shoot 7 people”

And that is coming from a person that has tasted both the South and the North.

North and South of what? The US? You do know the civil war is over right?

Really they are? Damn I didn’t know that, Man I’m glad I ran into you.. wow. Marines can shoot?..wow..

You know I asked a simply question here for people to post their pride and joy in firearms. You posted you have a S&W 9mm, 15 round mag and that you can kill 7 people.

Well I have a Beretta 9mm with a 15 round mag and I can kill 15 f.ucking people if I was dumb enough to go out and shoot people for no reason.
That’s how they taught us to shoot.

Its a Wu Shu Jian for practicing Tai Chi. Its a practice blade, its very well balanced and sings pretty loudly when swung. It was designed by Adam Hsu, a Tai Chi master.
