Jeremy Scahill, perhaps the best reporter on the situation who speaks with Hamas, reports the facts. Netanyahu offered an outrageously bad 'deal'. Three weeks ago, Hamas agreed to it - and Netanyahu then backed out, because he wants genocide, not a deal. He does not want the hostages returned to keep using them as propaganda for the genocide. Now Hamas agreed to return them all, now, Netanyahu rejected it again.
