Well, maybe you should enlist so we can parachute you over Tehran with the rest of the troops.
North Korea was complying with the deal until it became clear that the United States had no intention of holding up its end of the bargain.
and share with us what Obama should have done instead1. Unfortunately, Obama is too much of a chicken-**** to do what it takes to stop Iran from getting the bomb.
the shrub queered that deal2. I think you should re-visit the N. Korea history about who broke what deal.
Been there, done that, got the t-shirt and the scars. But tell me, are you a chicken-****, too?
You got a source to cite? Or are you just blathering.
No, but I'm not a war monger either. Those that are should be the first dispatched.
You can start here. The United States did not live up to a single one of its obligations under the Agreed Framework thanks to the same sort of Republican sabotage we are seeing now with Iran. In contrast, North Korea agreed to IAEA inspection, stopped construction of two nuclear reactors, shut down the existing Yongbyon reactor, and stopped processing spent fuel. There was a real opportunity to make progress that the Republicans destroyed because they don't know the meaning of diplomacy. All North Korea got in return for compliance was a catalog of broken commitments, chest-pounding, and threats from the Republican Party so of course they took a 180 and built a bomb.
So, it sounds like Obama is going the same route that Clinton went. Making a non-binding agreement...disregarding Republican objections...and you want to blame the Republicans. We are going to get deja-vu all over again.
Thats right, because Republican obstructionism only leads to one outcome; a nuclear armed Iran.
It would be just as valid to say that Democratic weak-willed deal-making results in nuclear armed countries. I mean, North Korea...like Iran...has never been known for good faith negotiations or abiding by agreements made.
Not at all. The only progress ever to have been made with North Korea was made by a Democratic President. As previously noted, North Korea made good on several of its commitments. It was the Republicans who drove Korea to abandon the Agreed Framework by playing political games and clinging to decades-old failed foreign policy like they are now.
Quite weird then that you have stated in a previous thread that Iran actually has a right to hold nuclear weapons and had posted a link to an article claiming that Iranian nukes will have a positive influence on the world. Dishonesty.
Why aren't you referring to your statements of support for Bashar al-Assad? Claiming that "there is no evidence" for his use of chemical weapons? For his targeting of his own civilian populations? Yet more dishonesty.
So you're opposed to Putin's tyrannical regime? Your posts strongly contradict that notion.
Really? Do I? Every second post of yours has "Israel/America/the West are targeting civilians" statement in it, or some reference to some guy who claims that the US constantly engages in terrorism or whatever. What makes you believe you can simply deny that?
It's not an issue with popularity, I seriously doubt anyone who can manage to operate an average computer is stupid enough to believe that events on these boards carry more meaning than simply existing on the virtual realm. It's an issue with not being honest about your actual opinions so you can continue to hold these deranged world view of yours, supporting medieval regimes and opposing Western democracies, while not being confronted.
Thats right, because Republican obstructionism only leads to one outcome; a nuclear armed Iran.
