It's classic narcissism: Never, ever, ever take responsibility for anything you do, but preach the gospel of "personal responsibility" as if it would solve everything. 🙄

He would fly people in from China to various parts of the US instead of implementing travel restrictions from China.
That is what he did. When he implemented those restrictions in Chinese Nationals 40,000 people immediately returned to the US from China and since U.S. Customs did not have the ability to quarantine or even monitor them all they proceeded to spread the virus to all 50 States. The "travel ban" made things much worse. It virtually guaranteed a nationwide pandemic overnight.

“We created this rush, and we didn’t have the ability to test or quarantine those people. And so that seeded the disease here,” Gates said.

He would create chaos at airports, that would result in MOSt people rushing to get home, and stand in long lines, with those people that are supposed to be infected, and banned from entry.

The Chinese government forced practically everyone to stay inside their apartments for 2 months, which is possible there because they have absolutely no civil liberties.

Dire public health emergencies sometimes supercede civil liberties to some degree.
Not much different than if they issued orders dealing with nuclear fallout.

Libertarianism philosophy as asserted in the U.S. these days could be considered impractical or unworkable in an post industrial ODC, if it was a coherent, complete political philosophy. Contradictions resulting incoherence are assertions of over broad second amendment "rights", advocacy of abortion restrictions before medically accepted independent viability, and no remedy for this,

Rauchway portrays Roosevelt, too, as farsighted from early in the 1932 campaign onward: Rejecting the fantasy of 19th-century individualism espoused by the Republican Party, he was committed instead to a vision that assigned government some responsibility for shaping economic life, and to quasi-Keynesian programs to achieve that vision....

“The country needs and, unless I mistake its temper, the country demands bold, persistent experimentation. ... Much of this waste is the inevitable by-product of progress in a society which values individual endeavor and which is susceptible to the changing tastes and customs of the people of which it is composed. Scientists have determined that the earliest cases of the virus in New York came from EUROPE in January, and Europe was the source of much of the New York infection. We know that Trump was briefed on the virus (when he felt like listening) in 2019. When did he restrict travel from Europe?

Just watch, if Biden wins, the Rethuglicans are going to try to throw trump's record straight down the memory hole. Just like they did with GWB.

The lying and gas lighting will be observable from space (it could be argued it already is). Here's McEnany saying yesterday, "Choosing not to fill a vacant seat would be a historically unprecedented act of unilateral disarmament."

If Trump wanted the virus to spread he would do exactly what the Democrats have accused him of doing. NOTHING!

Silly stupid poll.

With regard to my cites about dire public health emergencies, what the mask slackers and covidiots fail to recognize is that the imposition of these restrictions are always ONLY FOR THE DURATION of the emergency, which means that when medical and scientific evidence point to positive outcomes and a safe plateau, restrictions begin to go away.

They're never meant to be permanent, and these anti-mask protesters are pretending that they are.

um, that is pretty much what he did..other than obstruct testing, preventative measures and distribution of masks
There you have it. He’s doing a good job at doing nothing. Funny how a few democratic governors praised him for doing nothing. But that was before they got the memo that Trump was to be blamed for everything.

Why is Trump continuing to hold rallies in defiance of his own government’s guidelines to keep Americans safe?

BZZRP! I’m sorry, the correct answer is that Europe got the disease from China, whose leaders also withheld vital information about the disease from nearly every other government on the planet.

Irrelevant. The virus is here, and it is our president's job to manage it. By any reasonable standard, he failed miserably. (n)

The "Sgt. Schultzes" who profess to see nothing....nothing negative, let alone criminal associated with Trump's symptoms of acute mental and emotional health crises are the precise reason Trump is and continues to be POTUS. Trump is death of all he inserts himself in... nothing is the better for his involvement, certainly not his enablers, most of who seem involuntarily attracted.

So obvious to the majority of us, Trump is malignant. As Mike Pence's Haus:Land Security advisor warned days ago, after throwing away her continued career prospects, $180k annual salary, her benefits, and her entire professional network, warned all of us, "President Trump cares only about his reelection!" Being ensconced in the White House bubble since the Bush Admin., she couldn't know there is no one for her to influence. Everyone already either gets it, or they don't, they only discern the malignancy with the red tie in the thousand dollar suit as very attractive.

Trump says he might reject stricter FDA vaccine guidelines
The FDA has reportedly proposed stricter emergency authorization standards, which are now under review by the White House Office of Management and Budget.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that the White House may not approve tougher FDA guidelines for authorizing the emergency use of any coronavirus vaccines.

"That has to be approved by the White House," Trump said. "We may or may not approve it."

Trump also suggested that the FDA's decision to revise the standards, first issued in June, "was a political move more than anything else." The president has repeatedly vowed that a vaccine would be available by Election Day, although prominent scientists within his administration have said it's extremely unlikely.

I am not saying the president of the united states committed genocide. At least I am not saying it in *this* post.

I want to kind of work through this. So. Let’s just say the potus *did* want to spread covid. What would it look like?

What if Joe did just want to promote anarchy and violent rioting?

What if Joe did just want to promote arson, destruction of property, and death?

What if Joe is under the complete control of the U. S. Communist Party? And violent factions of BLM?

Interesting questions.

What 'specifically' is interesting about your asinine, loaded questions? Emphasis on 'specifics.'

A trump rally.

THey’re not peaceful, they’re transmitting a deadly virus that leaves patients isolated until they drown in their own fluids.

Trump runs his rallies. He asks people to gather. He mocks mask wearing. He is spreading the virus. I agree he can do it if he likes, it’s just a little bit of a hamper on “proving” how much he did to save lives. You cannot insist he saved millions while actively spreading a virus.

ON the govs: if they own all the death, then Trump cannot take any credit for the “millions saved.”

Logic - how does it even work!
Then where are you in condemning the riots and the protest for those exact same reasons?

Say all you like about Trump's rallies. But they aren't setting fires to private property and assaulting innocent bystanders. So your whole continuation of the same tired "their killing grandma" line, isn't helping anything. Because the same people who used that line, were out there supporting the BLM protestors and claiming that they had a direct right to be out there. While also condemning the lockdown protestors, much of the same shtick that you're attempting to pass.

Look, we all kniw EVERYBODY would have died if not for Trump's unmatched wisdom. He saved all these people, but Democrats killed them.

Exactly! Why are we not counting all of the 329,800,000 US peeps still alive? Trump saved them all. Glory be to Trump.

And Hermann Cain had a preexisting condition. He is known to have respirated frequently.

Everyone has a pre-existing condition. I have an enlarged prostrate. If I die after a COVID infection, will you claim it was really because of my engorged gland?
