People see the truth they want to see, what they can process and deal with. When something happens that shakes their foundations, they have a tendency to rebel against it or just plain not see it at all. This is their cave, and they like the view. The first step is leaving the cave, seeing the truth for what it is, not what they want you to see. But the journey is going back in for the others.

There is nothing "Practical" about having to listen to a 10-minute video to find out what one should be able to communicate in there own words and excerpt with citation in their own OP.

Paradoxically, how does one know they have not simply entered another cave rather than seeing reality for what it is?

Wish I could answer that one sir. In today's environment, they would need someone to tell them they have 'left' or 'arrived' and they would most likely have to pay them for the answer =)
