What percentage of the GOP are MAGA Republicans versus (Normal or Moderate) Republicans?

What percentage of the GOP are MAGA Republicans?

  • Total voters

Would you consider Repubs who support Desantis over Trump for the GOP presidential nomination to be MAGA Republicans? I think they are.
It depends on why I think. If its culture war stuff, then most likely they are MAGA Republicans.

I'm not exactly sure what I was looking for but I don't think that was it.

What are the different political beliefs of all these different Republicans?

I thought the ones that MAGA criticized were RINOs?
It looks like you answered your own question here, even if your labeling is different. I will map the terminology out for you

There are no 'regular Republicans'.

All three paragraphs are monumentally stupid. I've supported Donald Trump in the past but I'm not an election denier nor do I believe in political violence. And I do not believe Donald Trump should be prosecuted for anything.

As far as Biden and the liberal establishment are concerned, it is 99% and all should be in jail for their thought crimes. Anybody who doesn't blindly support the liberal establishment is against democracy and is an extremist terrorist. Right wing extremist terrorists are the nation's #1 threat and need to be dealt with as traitors. Do it now.

So what's the difference between MAGA Republicans, Moderate Republicans and Normal Republicans.

I think we need to know those distinctions before we can vote.

If 90% of Republicans will vote for Trump if he's the nominee, what differences do you see? You vote for it, you own it.

Bingo!

If that's what they want to do to their own, what do you think they want to do to us?

What percentage of the GOP are MAGA Republicans?
About 71%.

After factoring in the population, the number of voting age Americans, the percentage that identify as Republican, and finally the number of Republicans who voted for Trump in 2020, that's 71% of Republicans.

Numbers I'm calculating from:

335,256,663 Americans
77.9% aged 18 and over (261,164,940)
40% of voting age americans identify as republican (104,465,976)
74,222,960 voted for trump, which is 71% of all Republicans of voting age

not sure what composition they are within the GQP, but when viewing poll data, the MAGAt representation within the nation's voting population appears to be a very scary 38-40%

I'm a member of the GOP and I'm not "MAGA".

Your post is monumentally stupid.
The GOP nominates those who support Maga - so if you are voting Maga or those who support Maga and enable it, you are Maga.

If you aren't voting Maga, then you aren't voting GOP and therefore are now independent and not GOP.

So either way my statement stands and your inability to comprehend simple concepts is not my stupidity.

Real Americans want to make America great again, so it's 100%.

...sorry I asked...

I think the term Republican should be deprecated as it is now obsolete. A conservative can be either a MAGA or a RINO, and it is a binary decision.

90% of Republicans will vote for MAGA if Trump's the eventual nominee, but they tell us they're not the problem.

How stupid do they believe we are? As stupid as Trump & their Party thinks they are? Because, that's what it seems.
And if we don't do something about these white nationalist extremist terrorist traitors soon they will take over the government. I think Biden should declare martial law, cancel the midterms, and start capturing and imprisoning these traitors, every last one of them. Now. Once all republicans are in jail for life and all their human rights have been stripped away, then our democracy will be safe and we can resume voting.

Nah.

Just public financing of elections, proportional voting, an end to Citizen's United and universal voter registration coupled with weeklong, all day voting.

Simple:

If you identify as a Republican but are not in the category of "the election was rigged and Trump is the rightful POTUS of the US in 2022" you are NOT MAGA.
If you identify as a Republican but are not supportive of a hangman's noose outside the Capitol Building and piling into the halls of the Capitol on Jan 6th, you are NOT MAGA
If you identify as a Republican but are not supportive of Trump and his actions post-election you are NOT MAGA.
If you identify as a Republican but respect the institutions of government for what they are...and don't feel the need to be loud, obnoxious and disruptive...when interacting with any level of government or perceived "authority" that you disagree with? You are NOT MAGA>

I'm watching it play out even on a local level in 2022...there are the "normal" Republican candidates - talking about fiscal responsibility, budgets, property taxes, etc. and then there are the MAGA crowd that are running around acting like complete lunatics and screaming about EVERYTHING. (Literally everything - they'll go from a school board meeting to a town committee meeting to the County Commissioners meeting...to Trenton...all in ONE WEEK and have something to be angry and yelling about at each one, even if there is nothing on the agenda for any TO be angry about)

Most people - Republican, Democrat, Independents, unaffiliated - can manage to come to SOME sort of middle ground and commonality on topics. MAGA folks, at least around here, want things 100% THEIR way, 100% of the time and have not a single iota of decorum or respect for anyone that disagrees with their way.

They're a minority, by far.

And then they storm the capitol and take over the government? They already tried it once and almost succeeded. Never again. The entire right is complicit in a terrorist plot to usurp democracy at any cost. None of this old style bleeding heart liberal BS, today we are up against a very evil enemy and we must round them all up and ship them off to a somalian work prison. Do it right the first time.

What percentage of the GOP are MAGA Republicans?
I'd say 25% hardcore. Then 15-20% are sympathetic. There is as many who feel White issues will be better served by Republicans. The mix has gone down after Jan 6th and Roe. I think MAGA realizes it as well. They are desperate to stem the desertions and will twist anything they can grasp. The 'umbrage' over Biden repeating Homeland's threat assessment of MAGA, suddenly deficits matter, the wunder kinder of MAGA, DeSantis has spent taxpayer money to make elections safe only to find 20 who thought they could vote. He claims it is just the tip of a fraud iceberg, but it seems more a MAGA molehill...

The stink of MAGA desperation- their policies didn't smell springtime fresh to begin with. Now buzzards are flying away from the smell...

Well if you are a average American then around 25-30% are MAGAS. If you’re a leftist from this site then 110% are those awful, terrible, low life and uneducated MAGAS
