What Mostly Non-White, Socialist Country Should America Seek To Emulate ?

North Korea.

The North Korean people have cradle to grave government care, guaranteed employment, zero poverty and nearly absolute equity across the population. Where all men are equal, all men prosper!!!

What about if they just changed the name to something that doesn't have the negative connotations? I mean, what if they had the same social safety net but changed their name to something like "Kimmyland"?

At that point it would be a matter of self-preservation. When the political leaders of your nation choose to forcibly apply their sociopolitical agenda upon the nation then it becomes incumbent upon the people of that nation to fight for their freedom.

NK is NOT a Socialist country. It's a political dictatorship with a Communist economy.....and poverty is at around 60%.

Socialism and Communism are NOT equivalents.....just as Capitalism and Fascism are NOT equivalents.

The US has not come even remotely close to exercising pure Capitalism in more than a century, now. We are a MIXED economy, based upon REGULATED CAPTIALISM, with elements of Socialism (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare, Police, Fire Departments, Military, Child Labor Laws, Minimum Wage, Farm Subsidies, Corporate Subsidies, Energy subsidies, Post Offices, Public Highways, Public Libraries, Public Education, Public Museums, Public Parks, Garbage Collection, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.........

As for the US......We are NEITHER a Capitalist nation, nor a Socialist nation. And it is long-past time for people on the Right to leave their elementary school level rhetoric about this topic where it belongs.....in their grade schooler's social studies classroom.

The real debate isn’t between capitalism and socialism, but about the appropriate balance between the two.

Nobody is forced to be a capitalist. The very nature of capitalism is one of free exchange, not coercion. What you folks are trying to do is impose a system of economics, politics and social control that PRECLUDES free choice.

Again, war is not murder but a necessary evil. We have killed 1000’s to prevent socialism and communism from reaching our shores. But the enemy is within now. Good luck.
