A couple of my friends on Facebook share links from the dailypaul website. By now you should all realize my hatred for Ron and Rand. The DailyPaul is below breitbart.com on my list of reliable sources. I don't think there are too many other sites higher than it either. No, this is not because the owners and users of the site have a religious devotion of Ron Paul. It's because the information on the site is usually wrong or just some guy's crazy opinion!

Give us this day our daily Paul?

The true believer in any other guise is still a true believer.

Never even heard of it, let alone visited the site.

What a crappy 90's style site... Checking it for fail.

You either believe it or you don't. I think it's like a website that tells us that the apocalypse is coming and looks at every current event through that prism.

Never heard of it so I looked. They have a forum too and it's called DP. Think I'll join up.

I know, I knew about that site before Debatepolitics, for for the first couple of days here I thought you all were talking about the dailypaul without linking to it lolz.

If the rest of the country finds out about this site the newyorktimes.com and cnn.com will fold.

Can you elaborate on your "hatred" for Ron Paul? How can you hate someone who wants to help? I can understand you not agreeing with him, but hating him? That's as extreme as it is unreasonable.

It's not a site that predicts "the apocalypse". It's a site that promotes individual freedoms and economic responsibility. Yes, it predicts that the economy will collapse but by now that's common knowledge. You cannot print and spend trillions of dollars without repercussion...it's basic economics!

Let's break it down into a basic household economic scale. You start taking on more then you can handle, including giving money to random people on the street because they look poor. Eventually you have to start spending more than you have to afford all of these new things. Eventually you rack up to a debt above two millions of dollars, then three million and eventually four million. Eventually it becomes virtually unpayable. What happens to your household and your family then? THAT is what the dailypaul promotes not the "apocalypse".

I didn't say the dailypaul promoted the apocalypse, what I said is that like a website that does, you either believe in it or you don't. It's preaching to the choir.

Ok? And that makes the dailypaul an awful site? It's a news site for people to get news.

Ehhh i guess if you wanna see what the Paul family is up to go there. I found it funny tho that a extreme right wing libertarian site is also using a video from the recent "Socialism 2013" conference on their site.. A bit ironic..

There are some left-socialist libertarians there. Honestly I'm not entirely sure how libertarian philosophy is a stable thought!

Ron Paul is an old geezer who babbles on about things that either aren't true, are half lies, or made up conspiracies! He also claimed to be a Republican when he is clearly a libertarian, yet he only hijacked my party to push it further right than it ever needed to go!

1) Most of the government are "old geezers". Ron Paul is actually one of the most physically fit of all of them.

2) Aren't true? In 1960s and 1970s he predicted the 911 incident because he believed if we kept pushing countries around
they were going to push back.

3) In the 1980s he predicted that the economy was going to go downhill and that we were going to be severely inflated and in debt. Guess what happened?

4) He also predicted the housing bubble crash.

If he speaks all lies and he is just a loon...why are all his predictions coming true??? You severely need to do more research.

1. He's still old and older than most of them!
2. Oh, please! Those are about as much a "prediction" as a meteorologist saying it's going to rain some time in the future. He never specifically predicted the 9/11 incident. He just said that there will be more terrorist attacks. And I can name you every prominent hippie like figure who believed the same in the 1960s counter culture movement.
3. I can name you five people today who think the economy is going to collapse at the end of this year. And I can name a whole bunch more people who believed that the world was going to end in 2012.
4. Many people thought there would be a housing bubble crash.
5. They aren't coming true. His cult (meaning YOU) are just twisting what he's been talking about for the past thirty years, finding an event in history and pointing to it and saying Ron Paul was right about this! Leave it up to his cult to not realize why the DailyPaul is a site that spouts wrong information about history and the news...

People always want to believe that their messiahs predict things. Hundreds of years after Nostradamus there are still dudes walking around trying to fit his words into every little world event they can.

1) I know he's old...he's also RETIRED!

2) Predicting a terrorist attack because of our irresponsibility overseas is the same as predicting the 911 attack. He's not a future teller, just politically awake.

3) We aren't predicting the "end of the world". We are predicting a depression, get your facts straight please. And considering gas is over $5 a gallon, I find it hard to believe people aren't predicting a depression in our future.

4) Yeah I know many people predicted it the housing bubble crash, because it was OBVIOUS.

5) His cult? Rofl, well aren't you narcissistic and bitter. You really need to watch some of Ron Paul's old videos. He had the same message back then. That's why people like him. Because he sticks ON MESSAGE. Not all of his followers agree with all of his issues, but we all agree that he is the best choice...and that he will stick to his values because they were not compromised in congress.

This is true.
Nostradamus' quatrains are so generic and require so much wishful interpretation, no one can use them to actually predict the future.
But after the fact, look out.
I'm sure his acolytes think he predicted 911, too....and the housing bubble...and the dot com bubble...and John Lennon's assassination.

I'm not trying to be a wise guy, but where do you buy your gas?
I live in ultra-expensive Cali, and I pay under $4 per gallon.
That's a little depressing, alright, but not a depression maker.
Now, the drop in the price of gold, that's really depressing.

It's steadily rising, $4 may not be a huge catastrophe but it's not like gas prices are stationary. Also I live in the North East, and I have seen several $5 a gallon signs.

1) That's what it's for. The DailyPaul. It's to see what Ron Paul and Rand Paul are doing to promote the message of Liberty. Most stories are in fact about them, and I don't deny it. It's just like going to a Obamanews.com site.

2) All Libertarians are different, that's the beauty of it. There are leftist Libertarians among us.

I read somewhere that if you took the "Bible Code" and used it in Moby Dick, Herman Melville predicted the assassination of JFK.

Yep, here you go: Assassinations Foretold in Moby Dick
