Does the U.S. military need to become involved?
It won't.

Does the U.S. military need to become involved?
It has been involved since the beginning. The intelligence that has tracked the invasion plan was U.S. military.Does the U.S. military need to become involved?
Do we even need to move more military forces abroad? It won't.
The left is weak when it comes to foreign policy, just like domestic policy.Republicans still hate Commies and the USSR. Its you libs who lick the boots of commies like Xi and BLM
Then let the EU forces do what they feel necessary as a result. It has been involved since the beginning. The intelligence that has tracked the invasion plan was U.S. military.
Staving off a night of knives. He's never been weaker domestically. The Russian miracle never materialized. Terrorizing the gays doesn't in fact lead to manufacturing capacity. And being a raw producer of a fungible commodity is very precarious (see, Venezuela). It's never been more likely than right now that one of his capos turns on him while the ruble is poised for Turkish levels of old-school inflation and hungry Russians are no longer willing to immediately assign all blame to gay Muslim disco dancers...
It’s a little late for Republican traitors to act like they give a shit about Ukraine. They didn’t get their dirt on Biden so they could care less.Republicans still hate Commies and the USSR. Its you libs who lick the boots of commies like Xi and BLM
Biden jumped right out and informed Putin that the US would not send troops to fight in Ukraine. I'm sure Putin appreciated the heads up. Considering the money that Hunter Biden got from Russians and Ukraine is there any surprise that Biden made that decision. Biden can make tough talk with sanctions but they will not be tough enough and Putin knows that. Putin also knows that there will be no US troops involved, and I suspect he also is sure that there will be no personal sanctions against him and the Russian oligarchs. Afterall he warned Joe not to do that.It won't.

What's ironic is the very sanctions meant to crush Russia will end up putting other countries in bad positions, including Germany, Western Europe and the United States. Producing the very outcome you reference.I think that destabilizing the west is a big part of the goal.
I don’t think either liberals or conservatives like what the Russian thug is doing. Only the jackass seems to want to lick his boots.Vlad, Xi, GOP <— the new axis
Russia is communist? Really? Wow, i didn't know you were such a patriot! I bet every goddamn thing you own is made in the USA, and NOT in the communist controlled nation of China! His end game is the revival of the USSR.. An ex KGB communist agent who said 1 of the greatest catastrophes in history was the fall of the USSR..
I remember when Republicans hated the USSR, they hated communists...
You stay out of the thread. We can always count on you to embarrass yourself with totally ridiculous posts. I’ve never seen it otherwise. Please stay out of this thread so that we can have a serious discussion.

The idea that diplomacy with settle problems with dictators, communist, former communist, is just ridiculous. When has it worked out? The way to stop them is with force.
Thanks for sharing. What's ironic is the very sanctions meant to crush Russia will end up putting other countries in bad positions, including Germany, Western Europe and the United States. Producing the very outcome you reference.
Not a thread about Trump. He is not the president at the moment.I agree with his end game. I have no respect anymore for "republicans", the party is dead, made of anti-American, unpatriotic racist traitors. The Trump Cult Party loves dictators like Putin, their hero is still sucking on more than Putin's teat. Shameful American scum. The few sane ones need to walk away until they reinvent themselves, or just vote democratic until this insurrectionist shitshow is destroyed.
Its a long game. he wants his puppet regime throughly entrenched in Ukraine before he pulls out. He's hoping that upcoming elections here, or in Britain, or France or Germany will undermine the cohesiveness of the coalition. He's very busy meddling in elections everywhere and higher prices and lower profits that were to be blamed on Pandemic related shortages in labor and the supply chain can now be blamed on these sanctions in those elections.Putin invades Ukraine. Lots of sanctions, including against Putin himself and his family, and Russian banks being shut out of the world banking community. Putin says if he gets personally sanctioned, he will cut off all diplomatic relations with the West. Clearly, we are in Cold War II because Putin wants it that way. So what is his end game? What is he trying to prove?
He has already embarrassed four US presidents: Junior Bush (“I looked into his soul” and invasion of Georgia); Obama (“Reset”) and invasion of Crimea; Trump (“he said he didn’t do it, and I believe him”); and now Biden with the coming invasion of Ukraine. He clearly likes to get the best of US presidents, and he evidently thinks the he can do okay without the West, or does he think that European countries will be relaxing sanctions in order to get energy, and he can thereby split the West? What is the point of all this?
I think that destabilizing the west is a big part of the goal.
You tell me.Well, naturally. But destabilizing the west is a means to an end. What is the end that he seeks?
You tell me.
That's one way to look at it.I don't rightly know. It seems to be a crude reconstitution of the Russian Empire.
