On the topic though, terrorism isn't just the domain of conservatives:

Using leftist or conservative to describe the political affiliation of terrorist or freedom fighter groups is meaningless. The Islamic revolutionaries who disposed the Shah were certainly not conservatives. However, today Iran funds many "conservative" organizations. Using American political labels on international groups is simply an attempt to lump anything you don't like into one category.
