What I like about Qanon

But this isn't a thread to say that. Rather it's to like something about the fact that many people DO like Qanon.

As sane people know, Qanon is hard to understand it's such an idiotic phenomenon. But that's not the topic here - rather, it's that it's good news that people are ALLOWED to passionately be such idiots on politics.

There's some analogy between Qanon and the cultish group in China, 'Falun Gong'.

The difference is, imagine that the US government outlawed Qanon, jailed anyone who supported it, jailed anyone who mentioned it, simply because they demanded a monopoly as the only 'cult' that is allowed.

So when you look at the blithering idiots who inexplicably support Qanon - you can smile just a little about the topic. Just a little. Because if Qanon support could be outlawed, freedom to support other things wouldn't be far behind. You can see environmentalists in central America murdered, journalists in Mexico murdered, Russians who say "no war" jailed, and so on. That's the silver lining to Qanon, showing freedom, even if terribly misused to support idiocy.

That would be terrible and Im very happy its not that way, in fact its a huge bonus because now these loons are easily identifiable and can be watched and written off for the nuts they are
