What happens when August 13th comes and goes

So, what will you Righties and extreme Trump supporters do when August 13th simply comes and goes and Trump is still shuttling between NJ and Florida. Will you move the goal posts again? That would be my guess. But I thought I would just ask.

By the way Fox News won't let Pillow Boy Mike run the commercials for his big special reveal show of "evidence" of the BIG STEAL. Even when he pulled his Pillow Company advertising they did not give in. Fox already has defamation law suits to face. They don't need more problems from the Pillow Guy.
It will be moved to some time in September or October. and then to after the election day in 2021. Unless Trump or others in his administration are indicted and forced to testify in court that the stolen election claim was a sham.

Just liberals.
If you cannot lie any better than that you might as well just tell the truth.
Examples can be seen here and here .

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, a pro-Trump businessman who spread misinformation that the 2020 election was a fraud, has claimed that Trump would be back by Aug. 13, 2021 here .

Maggie Haberman, Washington correspondent for The New York Times, said in a tweet here on June 1, 2021: “ Trump has been telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August (no that isn’t how it works but simply sharing the information).”

My apologies to Delbert McClinton for the use of that lyric.

Was something supposed to happen on 13 August? What and why?

Here's you, defending him and his pro Trump insanity:

OK. Still not relevant.

That is because censorship by threat of social reprisal is a standard tool of the anti-Trump movement. It's also called bullying. Trump was popular in part because he stood up to the bullies.

Why would think that? It wasn't a bad idea, just unpopular in certain circles.

You are not seeing the double standard, which is unsurprising. Those discriminated against are aware, but those discriminating frequently are not.

What do you mean if? It happens all the time, though usually not to Democrats. It's part of the same double standard.
So playing stupid isn't a good look.

What’s August 13th ????

No liberals here are pushing the idea he will be reinstated August 13. They are responding to claims made by Trump supporters.
They are the only ones talking about it.

The MyPillow guy is not a liberal.

Again...nobody here on DP talking about it except liberals.

It's like Antifa and the Democrats response to it. Who? What? I don't know what you're talking about! Patently transparent.

Props from me for knowing who Delbert McClinton is.

When 13 Aug comes and goes, it will be 14 Aug. Trump is done and gone. Put a fork in him as the old saying goes. It means nothing to me what avid Trumpers think or say. For those who think that somehow, someway, Trump will be magically inserted back into the presidency, I have some ocean front property in the middle of Death Valley to sell you.

It's not about Trump being inserted back into the presidency. Could happen in the 2024 election, perhaps not. It's extremely doubtful that he will return without running and winning in 2024. At this point in time, it's about who leads the republican party. Right now and probably into the 2024 election, it's Trump's party. The establishment republicans are aware of that. He does not have to move back into the White House to influence what goes on. Both parties know that.

A new date in September or October is created to keep money flowing to Trump from Southern men who struggle to pay their own bills.

Other conservatives here have stated he is irrelevant, maybe you guys should figure it out.

Nothing is dependent on what "other conservatives consider irrelevant". Trump dominates the republican party at this point in time. Ask McConnell and Graham.

I love Delbert. I've seen him twice. I discovered him in about 1990.

He tore this song upon Austin City Limits Live.

Unlike every other GOP president after he leave office, whether by serving two terms or losing an election or even a Republican presidential candidate who stepped aside for others to come forth and take the lead, Trump has insisted on sticking around. As you put it, as the face, head and in control of the Republican Party. So far, the GOP has come up with new ideas or solutions to our problems or a new vision of where to take the country as happened in the past when others stepped aside. The Republican Party has just pushed Trump, Trump, Trump. Of course that is all up to them.

Now it is a fact independents don't like Trump. The Republican Party is the smaller of the two major parties which simply means in order to win elections, Republican candidates must win the independent vote. Perhaps the GOP establishment should remember this. But again, that is up to them. Trump lost independents 41-54 to Biden in 2020, Republican congressional candidates lost independents to Democratic congressional candidates 42-54 in 2018. Even in 2016 when Trump won the independent vote 46-42 over Hillary with 12% voting against both major party candidates, 54% of independents still voted against Trump. Hillary's 42% plus the 12% who voted against both Trump and Clinton. Not much has changed up to today as far as independents are concerned with their view of Trump.

It seems to me Republicans are counting on winning elections without any new ideas, solutions or visions, only hoping the Democrats screw up badly enough that independents will vote against them over riding their dislike of Trump. That doesn't sound like a sound strategy to me, it may be to you, but not me. It may work, but again it might not. I'll leave you with this.

Whether or not the Republicans stick with Trump or move on as they have in the past is up to you. So we'll see how this all turns out in 2022 and beyond.

No disrespect to Nota Bene or any other conservative. It is what it is. Trump owns the conservative voting base at this point in time.
Trump owns the radical right voting base......the insurrectionist base.

There are no conservatives left at least in Government save maybe 5-10 lonely souls. The Electorate that affiliates with the GOP now is firmly Radical Right, a few remaining Conservatives steadily pushed to the very left edge of the GOP, Center Right Conservatives pushed to the ranks of the Independents, Center Left Moderates pushed to the ranks of the Independents from the other side, Progressive Democrats, then Far Left Democrats and some Socialists pushed to the far left edge of the DEM Party.

You can do with Libertarians whatever you want to do.

Trump wants to be first American Autocrat because:
- He believes in Autocracy. He thinks Xi and Putin and the rest of the Autocrats have the right idea.
- He wants to be first American Autocrat because he realizes that autocrats stick around ruling for a long time. Hence, first in will be around for awhile and will grift to the 9's

What happens? They will pick some other date that Trump will be back in office, look at it like as kin to Christian fundamentalists suggesting end of times predictions. When they are wrong and everyone is still here the next day, Trump supporters will apply the same principle. Perhaps Labor Day will be next?
