What happens if potus knew about these scandals before the election?

First off this is not a thread to discus wether the president did or did not know and when. The point of this is to ask what would happen theoretically if a president knew about scandals and hid then till after election ? What would be the course of action?

Not much CAN be done unless the House deemed it an impeachable offense. But since it is likely every single re-elected President who has ever served knew secrets that would piss the voters off, such an event is unlikely.

First, here hasn't been the slightest hint that Biden was privy to these things. And VPs have little influence over the agencies involved anyway.

I'm not talking current administration just hypothetical and the reason for impeaching the VP would be that his position was falsly earned through the deceit of the American people.
