Hover your mouse over a users name or avatar, a box opens up, on it is an ignore button. I have not used it since I am a mod, but from what other posters have said, the feature is superior to the ignore function of the old site.

This new software also hides the ignored members posts when they are quoted by somebody else.

Far superior. On vBulletin, I could still see where the ignored posts were on thread pages and the actual post if it was quoted by someone else. All I can see now is who posted the quote I am ignoring and a "view post" link.

One reason I was excited about the software switch was how much easier ignoring people is. On vBulletin I had to go into a member's profile, click on Ignore there, then click the Yes button to confirm I want to ignore that poster. Ugh!
