I have yet to see any objective arguments

all I see are claims that cutting taxes for the rich won't create more jobs or help the economy

so class warriors and income redistributionists--what benefits come from taxing the rich at an even higher rate while allowing everyone else to pay no more taxes despite the huge deficit and irresponsible spending

More jobs?

less government spending

electing dems or punishing the rich are not valid answers BTW

From the Keynesian economics school of thought, taxing the wealthy "more" than they are currently being gouged might seem like a good thing, but it also served as the economic model leading up to and during the Great Depression, though it lost some influence following the stagflation of the 1970s under Jimmy Carter's failed one term as President. The idea that taxing the greatest contributors to the countries economic investment and grown somehow helps the middle class is the great lie of the socialist/big government economic philosophy. And if our messianic president is so intellectually superior as is touted about him, then he should recognize this undeniable and historical fact that higher taxes has always led to lower government revenues and less growth rather than the desired outcome of lowering deficits.

Nothing this current administration has done will lead to a stronger economy, more jobs, a stimulated economy or increased investment by companies which lead to hiring more employees. So I must ask why people are bragging about the so called intellectual superiority of this simpleton who lied his way into office by telling every different group he spoke to exactly what they wanted to hear when he had one Marxist agenda to fulfill once he captured the office of the Presidency.

laughable, even if the dems were to propose confiscating all income above say 200K a year that doesn't come close to making up for the massive reckless spending the dems have imposed in the last few years.

but given that is your motivation at what point would you say the rich are taxed too much?

Wrong they would just spend more.

That certainly has been the history and given Obama and his party gain votes by spending our money on his constituents it would cut his ability to buy votes by cutting down on government spending. Taxing the rich serves the dems several ways

1) play to class envy

2) give the minions what they want without making them pay for it

3) pretend to be doing something about the idiotic run away deficit

What good? Well, you can determine for yourself whether it is good or not, but at least the class enviers will be somewhat pleased. Other than that, only negative effects, especially for the economy.

yep but its fun watching the haters of the industrious spend so much time spewing stuff from their sixes pretending that they have a reason other than envy
