That graph not only gives the lie to their racist charge but it also shows the lack of access Black women have to safe and legal abortions. Just look at the states that are doing the most to eliminate safe and legal abortion--mostly red Southern ones where the highest concentration of the Black population lives. This also explains a good part of the reason for high rates of maternal/infant mortality for Black women's pregnancies. Many poor women rely on Planned Parenthood for prenatal care so how do White Southern state governments show how little they give a shit about that? Closing PP, their only source for that down is how.
