From the very beginning, when they realized Trump may become #45, they've attacked him with lies and half truths. Why do you think that was/is? Was there an underlying agenda against an outsider? Was it his stated policies? Was it fear that he may actually make the Federal government an efficient organization? Was it his realization that transferring our manufacturing strength to China was a huge mistake?

You realize we're stuck with the bought out mess that the Federal government was, and now is, until a real reformer comes back into power? Trump tried, but couldn't do it alone, against the powers that be. You saw what they did to prevent reform.

What do you say?

Just to piss you off, gp.

I say the OP should probably find a constructive way to get over the Trump loss and try to live a modestly rewarding last few years. I mean I know some libs haven't dropped Trump threads even though he lost but the OP just refuses to get over it.

The reformer doesn't have to be Trump. Just a reformer.

Trump is a Commie lover and sympathizer. Trump has said so himself.

That's a good question, but mainly probably because of pride, for all of them laughed at Trump through the campaign, saying there's not a chance in hell, but then "bam", they were proved wrong. This began a deep seated hatred, that many will never get over, unfortunately. We have all witnessed this kind of behavior and it's not good, definitely not the kind of behavior we want and need from our so-called leaders.....they have proven themselves a strong deterrent to democracy and a serious deficit in civility or psychological balance.....then, of course in the last year and a half, we see the results of this behavior, and it's not good, not of the American Spirit. No worries, the People will speak soon enough.

Trump had the House and the Senate, so "they" must be the Republican party.

And now seeing the Biden slate of reforms thwarted by this own party (Manchin) it's apparent that no reformer of either party will have greater success.

It's time to can the Two Party System. America needs more parties, and for that it needs proportional representation in the US House.

Trump is a Commie lover and sympathizer. It's not what I said, It's what Trump has said.
See this kind of statement ^^^^is proof of the power of leftist propaganda. It's amazing how many people were sucked into the Dem deceit by the "we're the good guys" BS line.

It is legitimate to bring up Trump's earlier alignment as a New York Liberal because he had no political experience to overlay that. The man doesn't fundamentally believe in anything but money.

On the upside, he can't be bought. He doesn't need the Party to raise money. On the downside, he care only about himself and his immediate family. Look at how he threw his supporters at the Capitol knowing at least some of them would do jail time. And how futile it was, and how he allegedly watched enthusiastically from a safe place, as if it was a sports game.

Trump is a narcissist, and his inability to take good advice doomed him from the start to being a bad President.

Lies and half truths? I hear you're not gonna believe what his top people are finding on Obama's secret birth certificate! Are you still waiting to find out what that was?
