That leftists are mostly arrogant, stupid and ignorant of history. Who strut around attempting to suppress any ideas that do not accord with their absurd sense of moral superiority.

In all fairness, too many cons are just as guilty.

Considering the number of conservatives who run around waving the Confederate flag.....you REALLY don’t have room to talk.

I've seen pictures of Confederate flags but never an actual flag - let alone waved one. Yet another example of the common American delusion that nothing and no one exists outside you troubled country,

That giving federal ‘block grants’ to the states (or handing “safety net” benefits to their residents) is not giving state governments (more) rights or power. They are simply bribes to accept (ever more) federal government control.

That remains the great mystery.
Just stand idly by, watching?

The exact opposite is true. The destruction has been willful if incarceration rates near or above 1,000 per 100,000 in
several red states refusing to expand medicaid, vs 275 per 100,000 in Massachusetts and in the 300s in NY, NJ, and CT are an
indication and 18 of the 19 poorest states "enjoy" state governments entirely controlled by G.O.P. speak to the adverse consequences
of supporting G.O.P.

Midterms: Poorest states have Republican legislatures,,,
www.usatoday.com
Columnist
"On Oct. 4, .. published a breathtaking economic profile of all 50 states, ..arguably the greatest unseen political truth of our time..."

Fathom it, and you will see how politics may unexpectedly affect economics and wealth for years to come.

"Eighteen of the 19 poorest states have legislatures where both chambers are Republican controlled. New Mexico (46th richest, fifth poorest) is Democratic. But there isn’t another blue or purple state until you get to purple Maine (31st richest, 20th poorest) with its “split” legislature ..."

Wealth in America: Where are the richest and poorest states based on household income?

www.usatoday.com
October 8, 2018
"..24/7 Wall Street ranked all 50 states according to the newly-released median household income figures from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2017 ..Community Survey.

More: What is the worst city to live in your state? Find out.

50. West Virginia

• Median household income: $43,469
• Population: 1,815,857 (13th lowest)
• 2017 unemployment rate: 5.2 percent (3rd highest)
• Poverty rate: 19.1 percent (4th highest)
West Virginia has the lowest..income of any state. An estimated 20.2 percent of West Virginia adults hold at least a bachelor's degree — the lowest ..by more than a full percentage point. Nationwide, some 32.0 percent of adults are college graduates. .. WV also ranks among the worst in a number of other key socioeconomic indicators, including unemployment rate, poverty rate, and the percentage of families who earn less than $10,000. .. but West Virginia has not benefitted as much as the majority of states from this improvement. ..the median household income did not increase between 2013 and 2017.

...39. Florida

• ..income: $52,594
• Population: 20,984,400 (3rd highest)
• 2017 unemployment rate: 4.2 percent (25th lowest)
• Poverty rate: 14.0 percent (17th highest)

Florida's median ..income of $52,594 is ..well below the U.S. median of $60,336. With nearly 21 million residents, Florida is one of the most populous states. A high share of Sunshine State households need help buying food. Some 13.6 percent of households in the state rely on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — or SNAP — benefits, the program known formerly as food stamps — to help buy nutritious food. Some 14.0 percent of Florida residents live in poverty, ..

..34. Indiana

• ..income: $54,181
• Population: 6,666,818 (17th highest)
• 2017 unemployment rate: 3.5 percent (14th lowest)
• Poverty rate: 13.5 percent (20th highest)

Indiana has one of the lowest college attainment rates in the country. Just 26.8 percent of adults in the state have at least a bachelor's degree, as compared to 32.0 percent of American adults overall. Indiana has one of the lowest median home values in the country at $141,100 — ... Low home values can often indicate residents are unable to afford large long-term purchases.."

23. Texas ...
• Poverty rate: 14.7 percent (14th highest)

Cool story bud. Unfortunately for you, it can’t change the fact that the Republican Party has whole heartedly embraced the Confederacy.

And if anything, apologism for colonialism, a common European conservative shtick, is just as bad.

That people who devote their lives to science, medicine, education, etc. are not dumber than they are.

That be euphemisms for science of sex change?

How can we make them understand?
That we all have societal responsibilities and there is no individual action that is completely outside societal contexts. Conservatives need to understand that bootstraps is pure bullshit. Nobody i mean nobody gets where they are completely by themselves, we are social animals.

Removing section 5 of the voting rights act undid a lot of progress in integrating black voices into our polity.

The presidency is far far too goddamn powerful and is currently the biggest threat to our rights at the moment.

Private property and liberty are not always synonymous and citizens united allowed the commodification of representation on a frightening new level.

Finally the southern strategy happened. Just accept it, its not a secret anymore just accept it and undo it.

Also stop defining yourself by owning the libs. You guys are practically killing yourselves to own the libs ffs.

Most of all, liberals are Americans too, so are atheists.

I wish that they knew that "We the people" is all encompassing.

I wish G.O.P. supporters would examine the basis of their fears. U.S. states in which G.O.P. does not
control both legislative "houses" and the office of governor are better places to live compared to
the states dominated by G.O.P., and the 39 percent of California that is non-hispanic white has no
fear of any fate similar to this,

How much is the recently openly emerging "white angst" (self identifying as "the real victims") is influenced by assumptions associated
with minimization and denial of the injustices in the past that is actually unsuccessful? IOW, unless dominance by whites is maintained
by any means necessary despite the inevitable transition nationally to U.S. much closer to California's racial diversity than West Virginia's,
the unfounded fear is that whites potentially face Jim McIlherron's "slow burning" by a vengeful, newly dominant demographic?

That we all have societal responsibilities
My only "societal responsibilities" are to obey the law and pay my taxes. I'm pretty sure most conservatives think the same way. What else should they be doing for society? Someone else posted that conservatives should understand that "life isn't fair". I'm pretty sure that is one of their mantras already. You know, life isn't fair, you've gotta work your ass off to get what you want, bootstraps, etc....

Uhhh... perhaps object to the theft of Obama's 2016 SCOTUS nomination and the ethically bankrupt, historically hypocritcal nomination
and confirmation of Justice Barrett, and to this? Your voting choices amount to pairing lit matches with gasoline.

BTW... stick your "bootstraps" BS, here! If this comment is not valid, how is this family and party still where it is, in AR?

This is not a bad summary of left versus right

Can federal prosecutors make Arkansas a more reasonable place for trans kids? Former Ark. state Sen. Jon Woods drew an 18 year "bid, in the B.O.P." Dentist who bribed Jeremy Hutchinson gets a year and a day ... https://arktimes.com › Arkansas Blog Jan 24, 2022 — Jeremy Hutchinson (nephew of...

By the beginning of April however, a total of 29 Republicans had announced that even after election, regardless of its outcome, they would not consider the Garland nomination.[72] In April, two Republican Senators, Jerry Moran and Lisa Murkowski, after weeks earlier expressing support for proceeding with hearings as a part of the nomination process, had reversed their positions, saying that they now opposed hearings on Garland's nomination.[73] Two other Republicans, Mark Kirk and Susan Collins, expressed their support for hearings and an up-or-down vote on Garland, with Collins also supporting Garland's nomination.[70] Some Republicans, including Ted Cruz and John McCain, suggested that the Senate might not confirm any nominee to replace Scalia, particularly if Democrats retain control of the presidency.[74]

Donald Trump, a candidate in the 2016 Republican Party presidential primaries at the time of Scalia's death, declared his opposition the Garland nomination when it was announced, maintaining that picking a successor to Scalia should be done by the next president.[75] Trump later released two lists of potential Supreme Court nominees which he would use to guide his Supreme Court nominations if elected president.[76][77] ..."

I really dont care too much about all the recent hoopla surrounding the supreme court. It became a circus but what could any of us had done about it? Nothing. Elections have consequences or so they say right? I just hope that in my lifetime there is a viable Libertarian or at least real centrist candidate that we can elect who wont pander to either the right or left, and maybe help heal this broken in half country. And I think the whole "bootstraps" thing is so misconstrued by the left. It doesn't mean that you do everything without help. It means you are responsible for disciplining yourself to have some gumption in life and not be a lazy good-for-nothing. Libertarians, and even conservatives trust that free people will, on average, be generous and help others pull themselves up.

Your tone influences me to attempt to understand why and how you come by your opinions.

Is there any model, anywhere close to the domestic real world situation, that could be responsive to what I consider to a failed economic
and political system?

Canada has a national healthcare accessibility policy. If you agree most who are incarcerated are young males, consider that the states of
Mississippi and Oklahoma incarcerate one of each hundred residents, compared to one per one thousand in Canada, and offer no healthcare
option for males other than emergency care.

In 2018, 43 of 100 mothers qualified for medicaid paid birth related costs. One in six is born into a household in poverty.

In 2020, about 16.1 percent of children under 18-years-old were living below the poverty line in the United States. This is an improvement over the child poverty rate of 1990 which stood at 20.6 percent.

The Trump plan was simply not to pay,

The policies in states governed by G.O.P. exclusively are not producing competitive economic results, this result is then ignored,

Divided we fall

That goes for the Dems as well

Someone needs to knock all there heads together. There is more that unites us then seperates, Ukraine is a good example.

We are letting issues such as woke, transgender b rooms amongst others divide us, folks this is small potatoes. Guys like Putin they luv this stuff.
