What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

We went to the local place that has my wife's favorite salad bar. I had the salad bar and 1.5 bread sticks. Looks like today turned out to be a vegetarian day.

We have company for a few days and we went out to our favorite Italian restaurant. I had the eggplant Parmesan with spaghetti, hot rolls with butter, Cesar salad, and iced tea.

Imported Danish Cream Havarti cheese on Finn Crisp crackers, cherry tomatoes, sliced a Granny Smith apple. Strawberry ice cream for dessert.

Got to the farmers market too late to buy any chicken shish kebabs. I was afraid they’d be gone early with the 4th being tomorrow. I got second best with half a dozen deep fried breasts and a dozen wings for our company. I made a Mediterranean chick pea salad with diced celery, onion, fire roasted peppers, oregano rubbed feta cheese in a lemon-olive oil dressing. Coleslaw for those who didn’t feel daring enough to try my salad. It sounded too different, too ferrn (foreign).

Yum. We like sun dried tomatoes when fresh ones aren't that great.

Just got back from Wellington where they have Taco Bell and Sal's Pizza. I buy 4 large pies and freeze them when I get back... and a bunch of burritos. I am having Sal's tonight. Slice of sausage, meatball and peperoni and one of peperoni and mushroom.

Good on ya lass
