What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

Finally gave up on making a crispy exterior salmon loaf and decided to make salmon patties that you skillet fry then finish in a hot oven. Finally got the recipe where I want it.
Also did some tossed some frozen broccoli into the oven and roasted it. Real easy to do and tastes great, if you like broccoli...

Last night I made mini meatball sliders in Pillsbury flaky roll dough. Tonight is going to be my first attempt at chicken a la king.

Roasted chicken (I brine my chicken before roasting) with the fixings - mashed potatoes, carrots and homemade gravy.

Tomorrow I’ll turn the left overs into a chicken pot pie.

That sounds so very good.

I made scalloped potatoes and sausage.

Yesterday my microwave quit while I was making popcorn. It's amazing how much I never noticed using the microwave until I didn't have one. I'm going to order a new one from Amazon because it's so much easier than buying it at Lowes and then finding someone to help me get it in the house from my car. It was a 35-year-old Litton from college, so it lived a long life.

Finished the last of the ribs and succotash. They were really good. Next time we'll have them is for the Superbowl, that's been kind of a tradition. We only have them once or twice a year.
