What can Trump do for you to approve of his overall performance, meaning you like him more than dislike him? Think 4-8 years from now, what could you actually see Trump do that could cause you to like him if you currently dislike him?

More reflections from a mediocre cartoonist...
What did Cathy Guisewite have to say about a Trump presidency?
How about Jim Davis?
If January is any indication, it looks like the Trump Bump might be infecting the hiring practices of the employers around the country.
New jobs in January were higher than any month in 2016 by a WIDE MARGIN.
Most folks in the country are like me. We need someone to hire us to do a job or we don't make any money.
More jobs is good.
Interestingly, while the job creation was way more, WAY MORE, than any month in 2016, the unemployment rate also went up.
Apparently, both the job creators and the job hunters have gotten more optimistic.

there have been something like 5 million job openings available for some time now. there is no reason for you to not be working.
First, Thanks for your thoughtful and rational post. I dont expect many in this thread. I do have a question for you. That's a really good question. I hope the responses are serious and not just the usual "Trump sucks" responses.
Even though I currently do not 'dislike' him for President, I do dislike the way he goes about things. For me, I wish he would slow down just a tad. It feels like he doesn't think through what he says or does. I understand he is running this like a CEO would, but there are certain decisions that do need to be inclusive of both sides. The 'my way or the highway' doesn't exactly endear him to anyone. You don't need to hit everything with a bulldozer
Tone down the ego and for goodness sake....think before you tweet!!
I think its more complex than just their egos. Its about political power. If trump is liked the left loses more seats in the midterms. They are vulnerable and they are fighting for their ideological lives. They can't afford another Reagan like era or more accurately stayed it would be a huge setback for them.Scott Adams, the fellow who predicted that Trump would win the Presidency back in August, pointed out that anti-Trumpers are on record as saying that Trump is a horrible person, a new Hitler, and that his presidency is going to be an authoritarian disaster. So that leaves them with to possible outcomes: either Trump is the disaster they claim, or they are a bunch of morons. So which do you think that they are going to go with no matter what? How do you think they are going to interpret what Trump does no matter what? Their egos will not allow them to acknowledge any of Trump's success because to do so will be to acknowledge that they themselves are morons. In fact, says Adams, it will go further than that. They will actually work to make sure that Trump does fail in order to protect their view of themselves. They will actually prefer a Trumpian police state to a peaceful and well ordered society. They will prefer disaster to success for the nation.

What makes you think he has not put alot of thought into what he is doing right now. He is executing or trying to all things he campaghined on.
As for his tweets i did lol when i read your comment. I did ot in a nice way not mockingly. I get why you said that and why you feel that way and share some of that sentiment but i also see his tweeting as an excelent device he has created to communicate with people in an unfiltered way. For better or worse it allows him to get his thoughts out unfiltered. I litterally joined twitter to have that direct link to him. He is the only person i follow. Im guessing twitters stock has taken a big boost from him lol
