Simple enough question: list your five least liked countries and state why, in order if you wish.

Mine:

5. China: A very oppressive pseudo socialist state that live under the guise of equality while a tiny fraction of the population flourishes while million starve and live in destitute poverty.

4. UAE: A serious religiously fundamentalist state wherein its own citizens only makes up for around 10% of the population, a vast majority of the rest being wage slaves from South Asia.

3. Iran: Viciously oppressive theocratic state where an otherwise effective democracy is hindered by a religious leader who holds supreme power.

2. Saudi Arabia: State ridden with disgusting levels of Sharia law, women are viciously oppressed, and one man continues to hold absolute power without a shred of democracy.

1. North Korea: The world's only remaining totalitarian state, and that fact alone qualifies it as my least liked country in the world.

5 France--they peaked in the 1800's and are the Detroit of developed nations
4 Afghanistan--they are not a real nation to anyone other than map makers
3 Finland--too snotty are the Finish people
2 Japan--the impunity with which they are slaughtering anything in the ocean or on land regardless of a species chances of survival is worthy of a nuclear response.
1 The US because we should know better than to be doing half the stuff we are doing or wanting to do at any given time. We truly are the society of the lowest common denominator and not in a good way.

I think I'd replace Saudi Arabia with another. SA works with the US diplomatically and economically. In this way, we engage them and push them towards democracy. They also support the war on terror, sharing intel and even operations with the US. While it is a backwards country, it is reasonable regarding international relations and is slowly progressing.

If France is like Detroit that's one wealthy and cultured Detroit, there is no comparison whatsoever. Afghanistan isn't the only one the Middle East and Africa are all just lines on a map.

Great Britain: A nation so proud of being enslaved, it can't even imagine why anyone else wouldn't want to be.
Saudi Arabia: At least we treat the other Arab hellholes like the enemies they are, instead of pretending they're on our side.
Mexico: Treats its own social undesirables like ****, then complains about "human rights" when we say we don't want them either.

Can't actually think of more than three. Sure, we have real enemies... but they're actually good at being our enemies.

OK, you hate the USA. "Millions of Americans starving."

North Korea is the only remaining totalitarian state? There goes your credibility in terms of knowledge. :lamo

Like how that Taliban treats women do ya? :doh

I can't even pretend to limit to 5 and candidly know little of African, Central and South American countries. So here goes.

All Muslim Countries with theocratic governments. That's more than 5

I'd put Mexico on the don't like list I suppose.

And Canada of course because they are leeches off the USA for their national security. And they're none too bright.

Best country? USA! If I had to live somewhere else? New Zealand.

There are a bunch of others. The whole Middle East region for example, but those 5 countries are hands down the most evil, vile, retched places on earth.

#1 Afghanistan - worst 15 months of my life. ****hole of a country. Completely hopeless.

I don't have any more. I try not to judge a country without having visited it personally. I've been to maybe 12 or so countries, but none of them were that awful except the one.

I too haven't sufficient knowledge of all the countries in the world to be able to pick out my five least favorites and I don't give a lot of time to least favorites in anything preferring to concentrate on what I like and respect more.

As for your flippant slag at Canada, we certainly do our fair share and America certainly loves our natural resources. As for national security, if we didn't have the US on our southern border, Canada would have precious little need for security - virtually nobody attacks Canada or Canadians because we don't attack anybody else - but they try to use Canada to get to America and Americans because you make everyone else's business your own. Canada, in fact, has to spend far more of our money and our freedom on national security because of America.

Sure you have.

The Canadian military, like forces of other NATO countries, fought alongside the United States in most major conflicts since World War II, including the Korean War, the Gulf War, the Kosovo War, and most recently the war in Afghanistan. The main exceptions to this were the Canadian government's opposition to the Vietnam War and the Iraq War, which caused some brief diplomatic tensions.

Regarding The Iraq War:

Though no declaration of war was issued, the Governor General-in-Council did order the mobilization of a number of Canadian Forces personnel to serve actively in Iraq.[2] On 31 March 2003, it was reported in Maclean's that in the previous month Canadian officers, aboard three frigates and a destroyer, had been placed in command of the multinational naval group Task Force 151, which patrolled the Persian Gulf region. A further 30 Canadians worked at the US Central Command in Qatar, and 150 troops were on exchange with US and British forces in proximity to combat.[4] North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) stationed Canadian Air Force pilots also flew combat missions with the US Air Force E-3 Sentry, and exchange officers fought with US units. Canadian pilots also flew Boeing C-17s into Iraq to "season" the flight crews.[8] In all, 40 to 50 Canadian military members participated in the conflict.

So, in order to prove that Canada "attacks" you point out that Canada honours its commitments to its NATO and UN allies and defends them when attacked by others. That makes sense.

When Canada enters wars, we do so because countries and people we support and respect have been attacked and we want to help defend them and suppress the aggressors. Can you identify one occasion, just one, where Canada was the aggressor nation and started a war or conflict?

You did, however, prove my point against Joko - all the references you made do prove that Canada contributes to the security of the world in many ways and many instances and we almost always, at least since the end of WWII, are dragged into conflicts in support of America. Prior to and including WWII, Canada generally came to the defense of our allies long before America did.

Canada doesn't have that kind of capability. You're a back-up, a bench-rider, second string.

How many of them are European?

Well, let's see:

- US
- Germany
- Czech Republic
- Austria
- Switzerland
- Italy
- Netherlands
- Sweden
- Afghanistan
- Kuwait
- Kyrgyzstan
- Turkey
- Wake Island (Not really a country, but a US territory, spent a few months there)

So, 7?

My goal in life is to never set foot in the middle east again, and never in africa.

I remember going to the Czech Republic it was rather depressing. I also had an issue with Germany in that every you look there is goddamn wind turbines.

Duly noted.

It's not what the people who matter think, but thanks for sharing your view.

You think Canada has the force projection to invade a country across an ocean or the equator?

It's ridiculous for you to claim to have not done something, righteously, when you have no ability to do such. It's like me claiming "I never lost a fight to Muhammad Ali" or "I never got sacked by an NFL defense".

5) Israel - Aggressive, Intrusive Middle Eastern country that lobby's US politics for its' own personal gain. Takes what it wants, does what it wants.

4) North Korea - Biggest bully in Eastern Asia. Always has to prove it's points with lackluster military threats.

3) OPEC Countries - Hate them for artificially inflating the cost of oil for their own gain, damaging U.S. and European economies. Only thing they can seem to agree on other than hating each other.

2) Mexico - Corrupt, ineffective government, perhaps puppeted by the U.S. Does very little for border security and has maintained a reputation of being a crap country.

1) China - Communist powerhouse in Asia. Hackers attacking U.S. websites, hates a lot of civil liberties, and multiple massacres that the world communities are afraid to stop or condemn.

Uh oh. You mentioned Israel.

I can't get into the hate. I've liked everywhere I have ever been, some places more than others. Top Five in no order:

1. France has always been good to me. I was there on 9/11. They were incredible. Most Americans don't know that. They only know what the Bush Administration told them to feel.
2. We go to Mexico a few times a year. The Mexican people are fantastic. What else is there to say? Mexico is a grand place.
3. Canada just grows on me. Every time we go I find more reasons why I admire the Canadians. It is a great country. Yeah, it can be cold, but the people aren't.
4. The UK continues to rock me. I've never had a bad time in the UK. I've always been amazed at the way I've been treated when I am in the UK. Beautiful people.
5. My family is from Ireland. I am proud of that. I don't know how many times I've been to Ireland but never enough. I've never felt closer to who I am than when I am in Ireland. I'd live in Ireland tomorrow, no problem.

I hate Pakistan the most..the birth place to all the terrorists..second would have to be China cause it is too stubborn in its policies(don't know why) i can't think of other 3 i guess..
