Hard to argue that Ali McGraw (circa 1970 or so) was one of the most stunningly beautiful women in film history.

Couldn't act for **** but she was a looker.

In Goodbye Columbus and Love Story, she was no Sir Laurence Olivier but in the Winds of War/War and Remembrance miniseries, I think she was pretty strong.

Paul McCartney & Wings - Go Now (Live) · featuring Denny Laine

All but one of these are covers, but one, of the original Moonlighters. The original band performed and recorded the chitlin circuit from 1937 until 1961 when 4 of their songs crossed over on mainstream radio and hit Billboard 100 during the early winter of '61, when the guitarist for the band died of natural causes. He was replaced by a 35 year old guitarist named Charles Berry who made those hits happen. Two more members of the band passed of natural causes within the next two months and the band was history. Chuck had already had cross over hits out since Maybelline in 1955, but was down in his career because of a Mann Act trial, and tho he won on appeal, he was facing a new trial, couldn't get bookings, needed cash and took the gig. He would be convicted again at the second trial, and spent almost two years in prison. He was embittered when he left the prison system, but his own determination and his music brought him back to the forefront of American music as a performer and influence on others.
