here's another ole timer tune by Charlie walker, use to be a DJ down in Texas..I think Dallas.

and now for a recent remake by Martina McBride..WOW what a voice.

This may seem old fashion to most but, there is a story behind all this music and I have noticed through my ventures in you tube that I can actually see the artist and band members age through the years.

This song fit my marriage for many years.

This song fit my marriage for many years.

LOL..men are from mars and women are from venus, in my marriage sometimes I have to be hit over the head with a bat to remind me how lucky I am. BTW my mother played the piano, and I love thie sound it makes...soothing.

Play it for your wife, and hug her like you know it. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the piano.

She's amazing.

A luscious melody, insightful lyrics, and gorgeous bass lines...

Little Wonders - Rob Thomas
From the movie soundtrack: Meet The Robinsons

Let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder
Don't you know, the hardest part is over
Let it in, let your clarity define you
In the end, we will only just remember, how it feels

Our lives are made, in these small hours
These little wonders, these twists and turns of fate
Time falls away, but these small hours
These small hours, still remain

Let it slide, let your troubles fall behind you
Let it shine, till you feel it all around you
And I don't mind, if it's me you need to turn to
We'll get by, it's the heart that really matters, in the end

Our lives are made, in these small hours
These little wonders, these twists and turns of fate
Time falls away, but these small hours
These small hours, still remain

All of my regret, will wash away somehow
But I cannot forget, the way I feel right now

In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists and turns of fate
Yeah, these twisted turns of fate
Time falls away
Yeah, but these small hours,
these small hours, still remain

Yeah, oh they still remain
These little wonders, all these twists and turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours,
these little wonders... still remain

I love Rob Thomas' voice.

This is one of my classic favorites.

Yeah, two really different songs there, I know.

Today, we look at Hellfest open air music fest in France.

Because after a long hard day of moderating and showing conservatives how wrong they are, nothing is better than some classic slayer.

Another strange one that I love.

South City Midnight Lady - The Doobie Brothers

Up all night I could not sleep
The whiskey that I drank was cheap
With shakin' hands I went and I lit up my last cigarette
Well the sun came, night had fled
And sleepy-eyed I reached my bed
I saw you sleepy dreamin' there all covered and warm

South City midnight lady
I'm much obliged indeed
You sure have saved this man whose soul was in need
I thought there was no reason
For all these things I do
But the smile that I sent out... returned with you

When day has left the night behind
And shadows roll across my mind
I sometimes find myself alone out walkin' the street
Yes, and when I'm feelin' down and blue
Then all I do is think of you
And all my foolish problems seem to fade away

South City midnight lady
I'm much obliged indeed
You sure have saved this man whose soul was in need
I thought there was no reason
For all these things I do
But the smile that I sent out... returned with you

South City midnight lady
I'm much obliged indeed
You sure have saved this man... whose soul was in need
I thought there was no reason
For all these things I do
But the smile that I sent out... returned with you
Mmmmmmm...

This a fantastic classic going way back, even to the old bugs bunny cartoons back in the 1940"s. A old Colombian salsa...remember the girl with the fruit basket on her head.

I am a lover of all music no matter where it's from, if it sounds good I will listen...this piece has a great beat and my 4 year old nephew loves it although he can't watch the video.

Yeah, that one put a smile on my face.
