Ok, I see alot of terms running around here, and I am not so politically ingrained that I am familiar with the differences. I know for sure I am not a liberal or a socialist, and although I have some strong conservative leanings in some areas, I have some left leanings in a few spots too. So I put myself in as an independent. But I see the terms moderate, libertarian, centrist out there as well. Can anyone give me an idea of the difference between the terms???

That is truly what we are all here to discover.

Some people want to be labeled, but how well do we really fit into that mold?

(my opinion only below)

Moderate: Opposed to extremity - centrist is close, but one can be a moderate Democrat or moderate Republican. War can be considered extreme. So this person is most likely against it.

Libertarian: Extreme conservative for the constitution or to the point of wanting no government involved in everyday life.

Independent: Each topic is one side or the other.

Centrist: Straight down the middle - holds checks and balances system in high regard.

Mine is in my avatar:
I'm a conliberaservatarianist.
I'm also a little bit country and a whole lotta rocknroll :rock
