I am officially 50 years old today.

Anyone else care to share what it was like during their 50th birthday?

50 is the new 40. You ain't old. Damn though Billo, I thought you were probably in your early 30's for some reason.

Happy birthday bro! :2razz:

I remember when I first turned 50.....wait......I never turned 50......I ain't even gone past 25.......hahahahahahaha life is good. It can't be all that bad Billo. At least now younger women will find you intellectually attractive.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA mother****er you are OLD!!!!!!

Happy birthday brother, may the next 50 be at least as good as the first 50!!!

Aren't you close to 30? - We both know what that means....mid-life crisis is just a stone throw away for you. Hey I got a good idea. Let's turn this into a hahahaha you're old contest. I win.

:2birthday :2party:

Wow, 50, your as old as my mom! Are you single? She's looking for a sexy guy who lives near the beach......

Hey Bilo, if you were a mouse you'd be dead for 45 years, so stop complaining about your age

If you pay me a plane ticket, I'll bring you the best rapsberry-cake you've ever tasted.

Didn't bother me at all when I turned 50. I still felt good, my brain was still hitting on all cylinders, and I began looking forward to the big 60, which is coming in a little less than 3 years. The way I see it, age is not a factor because you are as young as you are mentally, although physically, you may be........

Um, what was the question again?

Lowering weapons and declaring a Temp Truce….

I'm not there yet, but sadly I'm not that far behind...
Happy B-Day and have a good one.

Temp Truce ends at midnight….

Happy Birthday, Billo, and many more very happy ones to come. Can't share what it's like yet :2razz: Pretty happy about that

Happy Birthday Billo.

I have passed 50 numerous times, in several past lives...but that's a whole other story.

Thank you all.

Thank you all.

And for those who are into this kind of thing,
I am a Scorpio!

Dang, Billo, you're as old as my dad. Almost.
Don't burn down the house with all those candles.

WOW Billy Im 53 and life goes on. I thought it was kinda scary turning 50 at first, thinking 1/2 of life is over but I got that out of my head when I celebrated. FYI: Your body starts to change so keep up on dr appts and physicals and don't just brush off an illness as it will pass type thing. Not trying to scare you just inform you of changes down the road. :2wave:

All my friends are telling me my 50's are going to be a blast. Of coarse, I don't get high anymore.

Thats funny how people are affraid of an hypothetical change when they turn 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70...

If something changes, it's not overnight, it takes years.

I'd advise you to keep on exercing your brain: think, read, post on DP!

My grandpa is 88 and his mind is as fast as a 20y/o guy, because he reads a lot. He has learnt hebrew and arabic when he was retired!
