I mean have you ever heard in this country's 240 year history that citizens had to finance the food they buy at the grocery store because they cannot afford to pay cash for it???????

Trump's America just keep sinking deeper and deeper into the mire.

"On my first day in office I will bring DOWN the cost of groceries to what they were 20 years ago."

Crap claims like this are why no one likes you, Leftists, anymore. This is several months old and caused by problems from Creepy Joe, not Trump. Also, most of it is about luxuries like concert tickets, not food. Food prices have gone down under Trump.

Food prices continue to climb slowly. There have only been a few months since 1968 that food prices actually declined. None of those months have happened in 2025. So far up 2.9% in 2025.

Data from BLS

Prices of groceries have gone down.

Employment is up.

What more do you want?

Months old, it's what Trump inherited, and yet still down from the average under Creepy Joe Shitpants.

someone is triggered. LOL

2% inflation is normal and down compared to wage increases.
You claimed "Food prices have gone down under Trump."

According to BLS that statement is not true. Please present your source that shows overall food prices have declined.

Actually closer to 2.4% overall inflation. Which is still fine.

A lot of inflation data out tomorrow. Forecast rate.

8:30 am CPI year over year 2.7%

Compared to wages, are you sure they are not?
Thet is probably true. Not a big enough difference to argue. Too bad that is not what you initially claimed.

You were correct about the article being months old. You were correct stating a lot of early 2025 inflation could be due to the Biden administration. You went of the rails with you lower food price claim.

If the article sourced is 3 months old and it was that bad then, figure how bad it is now. But that aside, nobody is addressing the sheer number in millions if 1/4 of Americans 3 months ago were financing their grocery purchases. AI says there are 258.4 million adults in America and all of them are buying groceries unless they are growing their own vegetables and raising their own rabbits and chickens. One quarter of 258 is 64 MILLION adults financing their food purchases 3 months ago. How many more is it today with prices having gone even higher since then. That is a scandal but you'll never hear this on the news.
