We had some tornadoes touch down in my town last summer. I can tell you without a doubt, the sky most definitely turned a greenish black right before.

In keeping with the theme of this thread, I wonder what ever came of that storm?
 
I've heard reports that the storm came as a gusher before the drizzle started. Those farther north-east were caught in a hairy situation as well. That whole region was screwed pretty hard by the storm from what I heard.
