We are now being bombarded by false claims by Republicans that we are now having to import oil from Russia due to Biden policies. As usual, the intended audiences believe whatever horse feces they are fed without question.
The fact is that our Russian oil dependency spiked for a period during the Trump Administration. Additionally, our domestic crude oil production was higher during Biden's first year in office than it was during Trump's first two years in office. Obviously, these facts run contrary to what is being promulgated on talk shows and rallys.
Why voters still chose to have their intelligence insulted by distorted and skewed political "talking points" by politicians still amazes me.

If true, why was Biden on live TV a day or 2 ago signing *whatever* and looking at the camera saying "there... the US will not be importing oil from Russia any longer"?
