We Need to Increase Minimum Voting Age to 25

Oh look another person who wants to restrict voting because his fe-fe's are hurt.

16 year olds work, pay taxes, and are increasingly subjected to the passage of criminal laws which sentence them as adults. If 16 year olds perform the civic duties of adults, they should receive the civic privileges of adults. Working teens currently experience taxation without representation.

Additionally, democracy in the United States needs to be re-invigorated. Allowing youth the right to vote will increase voter participation, not only of 16 to 18 year olds, but also in the longer term as youth would learn at an early age the importance of voting. Alongside this change in law, the Nader campaign also favors increased education about civics, government, and the importance of voting.

My Mother at age 94 was still an active voter. She would always ask me who she should vote for..... then I would gather up political handouts for her own good HOWEVER never did I fail to point out who would kill Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and public education.

My mother still had an active sense of humor at 94 and was a night owl. The staff at her assisted living loved her.

Todays bogus republican party should be prohibited from voting as they support UN-American Activities.

Adulthood should start whenever the cutoff is for being drafted. If you can be drafted at 18, you can vote and drink. At the same time preferably.

My opnion.
 
Anybody who voted for trump should be disqualified from ever voting again.

What is going on in the republican party presently is against everything our founding fathers built this country on.

This whole trump period of American history will go down In infamy. Taking us back to the days of Lester Maddox, George Wallace and Barry Goldwater. The KKK rides again. Trump gave them voice and they came crawling out of the woodwork and took over that Grand Old Party.
 
You must be looking for reactions only because I can't imagine anyone would want to restrict tax paying Americans from being able to legally vote. Oh wait, your a Trump supporter, never mind.

Actually, Biden was the only adult choice. Trump has always exhibited grotesquely immature emotional development - not unlike his supporters - and continues to right to this day. He whines and throws foot stomping temper tantrums whenever he's called out on his lies, and then doubles down on them like a developmentally stunted 7 year old might. And he's such a pathological prevaricator that if he walked in your door, dripping wet, and said it was raining outside, the people who know him the best would still look out the window to check the weather.
