We need another Ronald Reagan

"The Fed Chairman in 1982 shot up interest rates in response to Reagan’s tax cuts. This had the effect of dropping anchor on economic growth and plunged us into our greatest Recession since the Great Depression that year. "

Evidently you weren't around during the Eisenhower years. (Or however he spelled it)

Unemployment during the 1958 Recession was around 7%. Unemployment during the Reagan Recession in 1982 reached 12%.

Yeah...we need another Reagan like we need a bullet in the head.

And for the last time, Reagan did not lower taxes...this is right wing spin.

Yes, Reagan lowered taxes by about $33 billion under the Economic Recovery Act of 1981 for individual and corporate taxes.

Then Reagan signed a tax INCREASE of about $91 billion in 1982...the largest tax increase in U.S. history!

Then Reagan raised taxes again in 1988, mostly on corporations and wealthy individuals, but still, a tax INCREASE.

Simply subtracting a tax decrease of 33 billion from a tax increase of 91 billion, shows even a third grader that we have a tax INCREASE of 58 billion under the Reagan administration.

The truth shall set you free.

"Facts are stupid things."

- Ronald Reagan (1988)

Re: 1 Reagan+ 2 Bush = Enough

"Our nation was built and civilized by men and women who used guns in self-defense and in pursuit of peace. "

Except for that one idealistic lie, I agree with the whole thing.

Reagan + Bush = TERRORISTS

EXAMPLE - HAITI , NICARAGUA, etc

Look into this?

Right. In that case, where's the next John Hinckley?

The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

We do not need another gun banning president like Reagan.

We need another Gandhi. One from America would be nice. One from the middle east would be even better.

Reagan already had Alzheimer's when he was in office and his wife was running the country with a Ouija board.

Is that what we need?
