Anger as Republicans block bill to help military veterans exposed to toxins
Jon Stewart, who has lobbied for bipartisan bill to expand healthcare for veterans, condemns ‘stab-vets-in-the-back senators’

I'm disgusted. I cannot believe this.
25 Senators voted for this bill a month ago. After returning from the house, 25 Republican senators reversed their position and voted against care for veterans who were exposed to toxic elements in pit fires.
Does it have to be said that these vets suffered while serving our country?
The republican party? This is the party they have become?
How do like their version? They denied benefits to toxic pit victims because they didn't expect Manchin to agree with the bill, and they didn't get a chance to make amendments.
They are trying to govern by spite?
The same Senators voted for the same bill a month ago. This is today's Republican party.
