What’s with this regime and videos?

John Kerry is just exuding umbrage. He’s positively negative. His face is swollen with concern. Or maybe it’s the botox. He and Obama are all but stamping their feet demanding they be allowed to bomb Syria. There’s just one problem.

There is no smoking gun.

There is, however, a video.

PARIS — The Obama administration is distributing videos showing a chemical weapons attack in Syria to help convince Americans and Congress that a military intervention against the Syrian government is necessary, Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday.

Speaking at a news conference in Paris, Kerry said the videos make clear that the attack is not something Americans can ignore.

The United States has accused Syrian President Bashar Assad’s government of using chemical weapons in an Aug. 21 assault, and cited intelligence reports as saying it killed at least 1,429 people, including more than 400 children. The videos show the victims exhibiting what appear to be symptoms of nerve gas poisoning.

“Those videos make it clear to people that these are real human beings, real children, parents being affected in ways that are unacceptable to anybody, anywhere by any standards,” Kerry said. “And the United States of America that has always stood with others to say we will not allow this – this is not our values, it’s not who we are.”

Kerry is in Europe trying to raise European support for a strike in Syria and also discussing Middle East peace negotiations.

Back in the U.S., the White House is making a big push to rally members of Congress. Lawmakers will consider a resolution authorizing the “limited and specified use” of U.S. armed forces against Syria for no more than 90 days and barring American ground troops from combat. Another bipartisan, classified briefing for Congress is set for Monday.

There is some question as to whether the videos amount to propaganda. For starters, their authenticity cannot be verified. And they raise many questions. Among them:

I guess Obama figures if we believed the lie a year ago we'd believe it again this year.

If one wants reason (excuse), one will find one.

The fake, fraud, phony, self proclaimed "WAR HERO" John Kerry beats the war drum for the U.S. to attack Syria.
When a photo surfaced of Secretary of State Kerry breaking bread (having dinner) with El Supremo Dictator Assad, Kerry is embarrassed.
When Americans are reminded of Kerry's "Winter Soldier" speech when he backed stabbed the American soldiers who were still on the battlefield of South Vietnam, Kerry is embarrassed.
Now the former swift boat skipper who abandoned his shipmates in Vietnam wants to kill Assad.
Beware of politicians who beat the drums of war. And especially those with a checkered past, like the elitist John Kerry.

We'd be bombing them for using chemical weapons not because there's a video of a chemical weapons attack. This article attempts a massive leap of logic and falls pretty damn short, it makes it sound as if any issue that involves a video of something is suspect right off the bat simply because a video exists.

They depend on appeals to emotion for support, those who oppose intervention should not appeal to emotional support because right does not require it.

junior moron can bomb syria but obama cant

I have a question: What's with Wehrwolfen?

No matter what President Obama and/or anyone associated with him says or does, or, alternatively, doesn't say ,or, do, Wehrwolfen always finds time to post something negative about it.

What will Wehrwolfen do when another Democrat takes Obama's place in the White house in 2017?

will he keep posting the same malarkey?

Or will he at least change the name to reflect a new person in the White House?

I guess that we'll just have to wait and see.

Beware of politicians who beat the drums of war.

Funny, when Bush and Cheney were beating the drums most of the right was right there dancing with them.

It's obvious that it's more than just Wehrwolfen who are having no problem with finding evidence that Barack Obama is an incompetent Cn'C.

Funny...so were the liberals. Right up until election time. Then their repeated 'lies' about Iraqs chemical weapons from 1992 to 2004 and their vote of support for war was conveniently forgotten. Funny how that works.

Oh...and in case you missed it (and apparently you have) there ARE a fair number of people on the right supporting the military action as there are people on the left. There ALSO happens to be a far number (right and left) OPPOSED to it. Could it be that you would maybe have to be the most vapid mindless twat to believe that if you support war in one circumstance you MUST support it in the other and that MAYBE just maybe there are REASONS why they dont support it (starting with a lack of evidence as to just who it was that ORDERED the attack in the first place)?

I don't believe that I ever said that Wehrwolfen is the only guy in the world with perception problems.

Lots of other people, on both sides of the aisle, need to get their vision checked.

Will Obama Care cover that ?
