The Christians number in the millions and have huge amounts of funding. They are active in scores of countries.

Except christians aren't detonating terrorist bombs throught the world every single day. The comparison is tough one to make when one set of people back there words up with support of murdering terrorist that are a global problem. And the other are 3 fruitcakes on a corner with a sign. I know my point was a bit subtle, so I will spell it out. The point is not to compare the guys I posted with radical Islamics, although IMO there are probably many traits in common. The point is you cannot take a picture of a few protestors and make implicit deductions that they represent all members of the religion.

Maybe the religion should take a much larger roll in distancing themselves from these people. Maybe this would help when images like that appear to keep people from jumping to conclusions and sterotypes. Maybe if the billion plus muslims actively purged this scum from there midst it would make the world safer, and make people see islam as a religion of peace instead of a call to die. I have a hard time believing that within this huge community they can't erradicate the terrorist element. If not possible then stop aiding , funding, housing, training, hiding, harboring, and helping them. If these animals go into a city and nobody will give them refuge, or they are spotted and turned over to authorities. It makes everyones life easier. It's a tough call. But when I see images like that... As I said before... Targets of opportunity - missed.

Except ...... there are no large groups of chritians killing people world wide in because of there religion. Thats the major sticking point when you try to make a routine comparison of the two as if there similar. Right now one of the two groups has a good size portion of it's "members" killing people in nations all over the world. The other religious groups hold signs on the street corner....... When people from one group kills 100's or 1000's there are streets full of people celebrating. When a person from the other group does something grossly illegal the people people in that religion for the most part condemn and distance there support of him....

I'm lost are you saying the IRA was killing thousands world wide during those days or are you talking of another group. Not to mention the IRA was fighting British rule not trying to spread there fanaitical version of religion all over the globe.
