What's with the cops in US. Do they get proper training? Watch These Cops Beat Connor Castellani Until He Needs More Than 200 Stitches

what is missing is what did Connor yell at the officers, and what was with his jesters. News report did not indicate.

I will go with the police chief. Its to early to tell. let the investigation take its course.

As far as the law suit. In the US it seems any one can sue for whatever reason. A suit does not in itself denote guilt.

Does his yelling and jesters from a distance without any physical contact warrant 200 stitches?

Yelling and jesters do not excuse assault.

I will wait for the report. The vid does not show the everything that went on.

improper police action, yet to be determined.
Conner still has some fault in what happened. Started with underage gambling, then mouthing off.

Are you giving Conner a free ride on this event?

He can be in trouble for his underage gambling, the cops who viciously beat him can be fired and held accountable for their assault in a court of law as well.

I wonder where your opinion was in my thread on the guy that needed help but was shot 10 times but police.

I commented quite a bit in that thread actually.

The fault is not on the innocent who narrowly escaped a car wreck and was desperately looking for help. The fault is on the part of the officer who pulled the trigger several times.

No it does not. It may warrant arrest but not a beating. Those cops should be removed from the police as they are not fit to wear the uniform.

Even if the kid mouthed off (per the video), in an attempt to detain the individual (for a malicious mischief or disorderly conduct charge) use of force is not warranted in the manner shown per the video. I expect federal charges/doj lawsuit to follow if this is part of a systemic problem within the atlantic city pd. Most likely the city attorney will drop charges/settle.
