God bless Kurt Suzuki and Ryan Zimmerman.
God bless Trump. God bless America.
That is not what I said, and you know it. You made the decision to judge Kurt as a man who "doesn't care about their fellow man" based solely on the fact that he supports the President of the United States. You are free to place such judgements on someone you know very little about. I am free not to. Carry on..
I believe we all are capable of forming our own values. My values may or may not be the same as yours. That does not make either of us better or worse than the other. <snip>
Yes, we do indeed form our own values. Yes, some values are better than others. Freedom is better than slavery. Empathy is better than apathy. Generosity is better than greed.
When a man or woman choose to align themselves with people who constantly demonstrate a lack of decent core values, that reflects on them as a person. It shows the rest of the world what is important to them and what is not.
Many Democrats defended Bill Clinton who lacked decent core values.
Some no doubt did. That was before my time as a voter.
Though I think anyone being honest Clinton's failings as a husband pale in comparison to the deluge of ugliness we have seen from Donald Trump. The belittling of the disabled. A draft dodger mocking the heroism of a man who spent years as a POW and was crippled. The rampant sexist comments directed towards women. Not just cheating on his wives, but bragging about it. 13.5 lies a day for years on end. It's a dumpster fire.
Understood.
But I remember a lot of Democrats supporting John Edwards and Anthony Weiner, two complete slime.
God bless Kurt Suzuki and Ryan Zimmerman.
God bless Trump. God bless America.
It's far more than wearing a hat. It is showing support for Trump and the things he has done.
He should be prepared to lose fans, possibly endorsement deals, etc, and face criticism from people who, apparently unlike him, actually care about their fellow man.
What is sad is that there are people like you out there.
trump has nothing to do with it. rabid crazy leftist are the issue.
why do you think it is ok to attack someone?
please justify what they are doing and it has nothing to do with trump.
Forgive me for standing for something.
What a hypocrite.
Perhaps Kurt should say to you forgive me for standing for something.
It has everything to do with Trump. If you didn't want a president who evoked strong opinions from the left, you shouldn't have voted for Donald Trump. That's why Trump was elected: Because he was controversial, loud, and had a penchant for trolling the left. You knew exactly what you were getting when you voted for him, and this is it. Don't complain that you have to lie in the bed you made.
Kurt stands for Trumpism. And that's fine. He and others just shouldn't whine like babies when it costs them personally and professionally.
so i hope you don't mind it when you are punished both personally and professionally.
i expect you to live up to your own standards.
The catcher’s display of support for the president drew anger and feelings of betrayal from leftists on Twitter, some of whom suggested that he be canceled out or “banned from baseball” altogether.
“Putting on a ‘MAGA’ hat is a form of racist hate speech and an implicit threat of violence,” the leftist blog Palmer Report tweeted. “Kurt Suzuki should be banned from baseball. If you don’t like this tweet, **** you”:

If he wore a swastika hat, he’d get banned from baseball – and a MAGA hat is no different.

It is sad private citizens cannot show support to their country/president without fear of being attacked by the twitter mob and anti-Trump media.
Nonsense.1. In this toxic political atmosphere, "celebrities" should be cautious.
a. Actors should stick to acting.
b. Athletes should stick to playing.
c. Singers should stick to singing.
etc.
Those "celebrities" should not say or wear anything that is provocative.
Their job in life is to entertain us.
They should be political eunuchs.
I'm sure he knew exactly what he was doing and the reaction he was going to get. Now he can deal with the consequences.

Indeed.
But in this case, the ugly free speech being exercised by deranged Democrats is just going to backfire on them.
Liberal lynch mobs are so 2016.
If I supported ignorant, hateful positions I would be silly not to expect such a thing.
Thankfully I do not.
What a sad statement on your part.Kurt stands for Trumpism. And that's fine. He and others just shouldn't whine like babies when it costs them personally and professionally.
