As often, the United States has kept Sudan’s name on its list of states that sponsor terrorism despite promises and Sudan’s full cooperation with the global fight against terror.

This arbitrary decision was taken by Obama administration despite the breakthrough in bilateral relations following the visits by Sudan’s Foreign Minister and President Al Bashir’s aide to US on invitation by the American administration for deep and frank discussion.

Sudan has done its best to improve its ties with US and has taken tangible steps towards democratization manifested in the late general elections in which President Al Bashir obtained 95.5% of the votes.

Monitored by international bodies, the general elections were proved to be fair and transparent. But Washington as always changes the post of the game when Sudan makes real breakthrough . Keeping Sudan on this list is completely political decision and has nothing to do with alleged involvement in terror.

The decision may be taken because Sudan has defied the International Criminal Court which was established mainly to target African leaders leaving the true perpetrators free from justice.

This new form of colonization has become known for all nations especially the African heads of state who pledged to walk out if ICC continues with its imperialistic and selective policies.

Washington knows that Sudan has nothing to do terrorism, however, it renews this measures to cripple Sudan’s position and influence in Africa.

This unfair list and ICC warrant are just tools to subjugate Sudan to become American stooge.

These intentions have become clear for all and no country will deal seriously with these futile tactics aiming to dominate and alienate others. Sudan Views-News

What do you think of Al Bashir? I mean, Stalin did well at election time too.

No legitimate election in the 21st century has results with over 95% for the winner.

Mao Tse Tung won by some pretty good margins.

When all of your opponents are locked up it's pretty easy to win.

This thread is a joke and will accomplish nothing.

Sudan president Omar al-Bashir has been indicted for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.

stating that the international court has been set up mainly to target African head of states is egregious! i am surprised that you don't fault the International Court of Justice for the daily massacres that happen in Congo, for the pervasive corruption across the whole africain continent! All these head of states who complain are a disgrace for their own people for all the harm that they have monitored to inflict on their opponents!
