It seems the winners in Syria are Putin, Assad and Erdogan and the loser is the USA, but not Trump! Putin increases his foothold in the Region and gains the friendship of the Kurds who now like many others in the region have a reason to hate the USA. Assad gets back full control of most of his country and makes friends with the Kurds who will help him in the Region. Erdogan gets the buffer he wants between his country and the Kurds as well as a place to send the displaced refugees who had fled into his country from the Syrian war. And the USA gets the reputation of betrayer of allies so no other country in the world will allow itself to be put in that situation, we are alone! And Trump loses nothing as those who supported him before his decision to betray the Kurds will fall back in line as he will lose very few supporters from the trump cultists. Was this the plan all the time between Putin, Assad and Erdogan and they just talked Trump into it a a dupe, or does it have more to do with Trump's businesses?

The ISIS flag is flying in the countryside once again.

This was a terrible policy the right will blame on Obama, no doubt.

Turkey is going to pay a crushing price for it's actions in Syria. Putin won't be able to offset that.

Well Obama founded ISIS. When he was growing up in Kenya.

America First!

...and only!

Trump's Istanbul Towers are safe so long as he plays ball with Erdogan. Trump isn't doing ****.

Don't worry folks, Trump is on the golf course again. Things will work themselves out.

No one wins in the middle east. Our European allies are not pulling their weight. They are content to let the US take the burden both in financial and human terms. We go into these ****head countries for a two year mission, and 20 years later we are still there.

The only reason the military is gung ho about it, is the bigger the war the faster the promotions. And yes it is a good thing that we have some fighting going on somewhere to keep our officers and warriors trained in real world combat. But even with that, it is time to get out of that snake pit.

It was a simple business decision. Declare bankruptcy in Syria and leave the mess, and the losses, for others to deal with. Then concentrate on productive properties such as Trump Tower in Istanbul. Just business. Nothing more.

How about plugging the black hole of tax money draining into black hole of mid east corruption.

Don't make me laugh. That was nothing more than another round of Trumpkin idle threats. Trumpkin knew what Erdogan would do. Everybody with a brain including Trumpkin's malignant pathological brain knew what Erdogan would do.

What price? Do you really think that there will be substancial sanctions, really?

Putin just won...Bigly. So try again.

Only a true trump cultist would believe what you just wrote. For one thing our military has been overstretched for years and none of them want to go back to those hell holes for their 5th or 10th tour. You must know nothing about our military if you believe anything you wrote.

Any second now Trump is going to obliterate Turkey's economy...wait for it...wait...it's coming...any second now...right after indicting Killary for Uranium One, Benghazi, Foster, Rich, and Pizzagate...hold on...just another...just as soon as...any second now...

All this excitement and anticipation...
Are you holding your breath as you wait?
Is your breath even bated?

Still no answer to this question: If Erdogan has concerns about his border security and Turkish sovereignty why didn't Trumpkin recommend to him that he seek the assistance of the NATO allies? Both countries are members of NATO.

But lets face it, we know the answer already. The right solution would not have yielded a pat on the head for Trumpkin from Putin and would not have given Erdogan his shot at slaughter.

Putin won the moment he put Trump in the Whitehouse.

Putin knows trumps time is short, so expect a lot more, very soon...

Yes, that was obviously the plan for most of the last nine months.

Putin and Erdogen tried to spool this up last December.

Thanks for sharing. It always interesting to see how the mind of an extreme liberal works.
