Both Holder and Obama over reached again by using the state of Florida to falsely accuse Zimmerman of murder in the Second Degree. There was no evidence to prove that Zimmerman acted with malice.
The prosecution was political as proven what the President said, then what the Holder DOJ/CRS did, and finally the
Didn't the Office of Special prosecution with hold evidence in this case. They denied exculpatory evidence to be given to the Defense. Shouldn't criminal ethics like this coming from the State's Attorney General's office be noted and prosecuted?
Angela Corey is responsible for these failures in ethics and should be barred from practicing law.

Of course it was abused.

It became very clear that the prosecution had no case.

This case didn't go to trial because of evidence but rather because of political pressure. This was a gross misuse of the court system.

No there had to be a case and half the point of law is when people are in uproar over the possible illegal actions another there needs to be a trial.

That is not a reason to charge someone.
His action were not illegal as found previously by competent legal Authorities, who are on the record saying the=y were being pressured to bring charges despite the law.

He should not have been charged.

Read the bold part of my post. Your signature also plays into it and like everything Aristotle has ever said it's wrong.

Overreach? A bit. The comments are ridiculous and DOJ's civil rights division should have never got involved.

That aspect of this is really reminiscent of the Terry Schiavo case where FL's governor, the President and Congress all got involved.

That's actually not the point of law at all.

Just got a phone call from a friend:

The turd-like newspaper New York Times, the quotidian Bible of the Black Racist Enabling DEM Gay/Lib scum had this on their Front Page:

A crowd of the Teen age Thug Trayvon Martin Female Sympathizers cuddling their infants in their arms purportedly showing the extent the emotional anguish these idiots are going thru with bemoaning the just verdict of Z's NOT GUILTY verdict !!!

I puked when I heard that........and, I am still puking.

I wonder how many times, if ever, these same idiots turned out in the streets cuddling their babes in their ams to bemoan the MONTHLY THOUSANDS of the TEEN AGE Black/Black, and Black/Non Black crimes across the Nation ?!?!?

The answer is yes and it still is. They are looking into more criminal charges. This is ridiculous.

Your position is wrong as shown.
As for the Aristotle quote, you are wrong again. The law is. Whether or not it was made that way (as in drafted, proposed and passed) is another story.

There is talk that the NAACP is pushing the Justice Dept (oxymoron right there) to file some kind of Civil Rights charges against Zimmerman.

Can you say "double jeopardy"?

No there had to be a case and half the point of law is when people are in uproar over the possible illegal actions another there needs to be a trial.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Zimmerman WAS investigated but there was not enough evidence to hold him so he was released. That was proper. That never meant that if further investigation revealed something else he couldn't be re-arrested. That was proper.

When the State of Florida handed this case to Corey they deprived Zimmerman of his Constitutional rights for no purpose other than political reasons and that is intolerable. George was imprisoned and his character was assassinated in the media because these bloodthirsty thugs in the Florida department of justice caved in to race baiters and fear mongers. Instead of upholding the Constitutional rights of the people they simply threw them out the window on a whim.

The ramifications of this case are not done yet.

It wouldn't be double jeopardy sonce Zimmerman wouldn't be charged with murder.

Technically yes.... but it is still clearly and blatantly a case of "well we didn't get to convict him of murder so NOW that he's been acquitted, let's see if there's ANYTHING else we can pin on him!"

A major injustice if this proceeds.

The previous reason given as to why they couldn't go ahead and charge anyways is not valid.
They can charge anyways as they are separate Sovereigns.

Is it likely with the evidence we know of and the FBI finding Zimmerman not to be a racist? Not likely.

I agree.....

I'm waiting for the Florida State's Attorney General's Office to investigate and indict Angela Cory, Bernie De La Rionda, John Guy and Richard Montei for ethics and criminal charges of keeping exculpatory evidence from the defense. At the least their ethics in the trial should debar the named attorneys from practicing law. Refer to the following:
