How many times have we read the erroneous claims by the rabid right wingers in this community about "Able Danger"? Over and over again! The BS was slung out as "proof" that the 9-11 bombers had been identified by intel....all untrue...all Republican hogwash to try to defer blame.

Please vote....but read this tidbit from the AP today first...I betcha there's going to be some of you refuting this latest Pentagon report the same way some of you did the recent report that clearly stated there wasn't any connection between AQ & Iraq...

‘Able Danger’ did not know enough to stop hijackers, defense official says

WASHINGTON - A Pentagon report rejects the idea that intelligence gathered by a secret military unit could have been used to stop the Sept. 11 hijackings.

The Pentagon inspector general’s office said Thursday that a review of records from the unit, known as Able Danger, found no evidence it had identified ringleader Mohamed Atta or any other terrorist who participated in the 2001 attacks.
