War. Would you go? Would you send your sons and daughters?

When it becomes worse would you go or support sending your progeny to Ukraine to defend democracy?

  • No, I'd rather live on my knees.

Ukraine isn't our fight. So no. If our leaders were competent in running a war I might be more inclined to support it. We wasted billions of dollars and thousands of American lives on Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea and other wars. Why would anyone want those retards in charge of another war?
American - and British - lives lost in Korea were far from "wasted". I honour the memory of those who fought in a just cause.

I don’t think that many who paid the “last full measure” had much of a choice in Korea.

Edit: I see where the US ranks were made up of nearly 50/50 volunteers/draftees.

When had parents sent their sons and daughters?
What idea is this?

The Germans would never do that.
And why not?
Because they are fans of Pizza Hawaii and Toast Hawaii. :)
I thought you were gonna say that they would never do that because they love Japan too much.

@Rumpel is a good German. Really a good human being first, good German second. Or at least that is my impression. :)

So it is, so it is. :)
And also a lover of good food and good drinks :)
Especially of a Toast Hawaii with a fine Gewürztraminer, or a Spätburgunder (Pinot noir) :)

How was ""stopping communism" a just cause? Don't get me wrong I think communists and socialist are vile pieces of shit. But its not worth sacrificing millions of dollars and thousands of troop lives to stop in a another country.
