"Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed." – President Bush, standing under a "Mission Accomplished" banner on the USS Lincoln aircraft carrier, May 1, 2003.

Since then, more than 2,705 American soldiers have died fighting in Iraq.

For what, Mr. President?

Bush, The Worse president in our history. The modern NeoCons are have no postive goals or desires. They don't want to negoiate with anyone, they want kill, They want force the world to bow to them, They hate the poor and the sick, they want children of the poor to not have schools, They want to send american jobs over seas to provide better corporate profits, and give lots what use to be American jobs, to malaysia, china, singapore, etc.
I heard one NeoCon say that if American jobs go overseas then American workers will have no alternative but to go into the military, and we can conquer the world. One guy laughed and said that "it is ok, if the only jobs are at McDonalds. Then we can lower the wages and make sure there are no unions. American workers are good workers, but they are uppity and need to be put back into their place." The goal of the neocons is control and train peoples thinking, so they will follow like well trained dogs. They realized they were being flip and ridiculous as they spoke, but they were being honest.

 :twocents: :comp:

I will probably get raped for saying this, but conservatives don't think about anyone but themselves. They also don't think outside their own country or even community sometimes. CurrentAffairs said (not verbatim) because it was 9 degrees outside the other night, there's no global warming.

I've noticed that about 90% of all the smart people I know are liberals or moderate but liberal on social issues, and the 10% who are conservative are usually influenced by someone else or don't pay attention to politics. Other people I know have seen the same, and I think that proves something.

This kind of stuff proves beyond a reasonable doubt that neocon's are mentally unfit to be anywhere near a public office. Most of them are incapable of dealing with anyone that has different political view or ideology. And in the world today, you have to be able to have these "soft skills" that are required for diplomacy.

Neocon's are like the guy who moves into an apartment with 4 other guys who don't know any women, then starts complaining as to why he can't get a date!

Well, duh...........

Haha. Read the stereotype thread. Out of all the people I have met, I have maybe met one smart liberal? Even though this liberal knew nothing of politics he was, I admit, smart in other fields. It proves nothing.

There is nothing inaccurate about this.

Major combat operations had ended. Remember, this was before the insurgency. Saddam and his regime were dessimated after our swift and thorough removal of him and his thugs. Bush spoke under a banner that said Mission Accomplished because the US Navy placed it there signaling the end of a very long deployment by the USS Lincoln.

I know that Barbra Steisand and Michael Moore told you different, but you were lied to.

Well you have different acquaintances from me. I'm sure what you say is true, but I can only vouch for people I know.
