War In Iraq Now A Guerilla War

We are getting about as far away from an effective "War on Terror" campaign as we can get IMO. This whole thing is getting out of control. :(

After disposing of Iraq's military, it never really was a conventional war. It wasn't one country's army facing off against another. It has been guerilla warfare since the first month after the initial invasion. Lot's human shields and sneak attacks.

The other glaring mistake is, if Rumsfeld wanted a quick, mobile force, like he said, why did he plant the military in one spot, make a base and give these people a sitting target to practise on? This is exactly the type of force geurilla warfare is intended to be successful against.

what the H-E-double-hockey-sticks is this!? I was just about to say I agree wholeheartedly with dude here right above me. it was a guerilla war practically right after the invasion. then I clicked on the link and saw that the article was 3 and a half years old!
