Putin has tuff times, he is sick and washed (Belarus, own economy , 5 wars, sanctions, isolation, Navalny, oil prices, etc. ) out and the neighbors who were oppressed by Moscow´s empire for many years see it and they move in .

"War Azeris and Armenians plunge into war as Putin and Turkey look on... The confrontation has the potential to drag in Russia and Turkey, adding to geostrategic tensions between them over proxy conflicts in Syria and Libya.

Russia has a mutual-defense pact with Armenia and a military base in the republic, while Azerbaijan hosted large-scale joint military exercises with Turkish forces last month. "

Aug 29, 2020 - Vladimir Putin is rattled. Why else is Alexei Navalny, an anti-corruption crusader and Mr Putin's greatest popular rival for the Russian presidency, .

The Azerbaijani (read A. and Turkish) army has destroyed the third Khojavend motorized rifle regiment of the Armenian (read A. and Putin´s) armed forces, stationed in Khojavand region, the Azerbaijani defense ministry stated Tuesday.

“As a result of the strikes by the Azerbaijani army, the 3rd Khojavend motorized rifle regiment of the Armenian armed forces, stationed in Khojavand region, was destroyed," chief of the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Col. Vagif Dargahli told the Azertac state news agency.

“As a result, the Armenian side suffered heavy losses; the regiment was completely defeated,” Dargahli noted.

Turkish army Facebook page ) bad news for Putin and his ulus . With cost of “black gold” at 15-23 dollars per barrel, the USSR economy collapsed, and the sovok itself collapsed, and the "golden" horde ("russia") budget can only be fulfilled only with oil price at $ 42.4 and higher

There is no "Golden Horde".

The RUSSIANS beat them down.

The only Ulu is Mongolia.

A multi-role fighter shooting down a subsonic attack aircraft isn't exactly an apt demonstration of technological supremacy.

There are no Muscovite Ulus.

So they didn't produce anything.

And the RUSSIANS have produced plenty of military weapons that have been examples of either advanced technology or unique versions of existing technology.

T-34, IS-2/3

The Tupelo TU-22, 22M, 160 bombers.

Anti aircraft systems.

Various MiG fighters

Akula submarines

You are jumping up and down because a Fighter took down a GROUND Attack aircraft.

There are no "Muscovite" fighters.

Ask the Pakistanis about their F16 talent down by an old MiG 21

Define the word "quagmire." Answer: The Caucasus.

why Muscovite (soviet made) aircrafts always end up on the bottom in conflict with made in free world jets ?

Well, they don't.

In Korea Soviet pilots traded at about a 1:1 ratio with US pilots, and Indian pilots flying Soviet MiGs repeatedly trounced Pakistani pilots flying American made fighters. And while they traded roughly 2:1 against American pilots (which is fairly impressive given the disparity in training time and quality between them), the North Vietnamese were more than a match for their South Vietnamese counterparts.

Granted, against the Israelis the Arab air forces of Syria and Egypt struggled mightily, but these same air forces often failed to maintain their aircraft properly, and in Iraq's case their crews had a bad habit of putting the wrong payloads on the planes. So there's a bit more to it than just West vs Soviet airframes.

What's happened to the jet?
Armenian Defence Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan said the Armenian SU-25 was shot down on Tuesday morning and the pilot "died heroically".
In a Facebook post, she said the Turkish F-16 was 60km (37 miles) deep into Armenian air space.
Turkey immediately denied the claim as "absolutely untrue".
"Armenia should withdraw from the territories under its occupation instead of resorting to cheap propaganda tricks," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's aide Fahrettin Altun said.
No material evidence about the jet has yet been released. Azerbaijan has called for Armenia to provide it.

A SU-25 is a ground attack aircraft.

An F-16 is a fighter.

Fighters should be able to win a “dogfight” with a ground attack aircraft.

Therefore, your celebration is rather meaningless.

do you agree that Turkish / Azerbaijan coalition have technological underhand in war against Kremlin/Armenian occupiers ?

do you agree that Turkish / Azerbaijan coalition have technological underhand in war against Kremlin/Armenian occupiers ?

Given the losses sustained by the Azerbaijani military I'm actually not that impressed. A lot of the videos I've seen shows piss poor tactics all around, namely Azeri tanks moving around without any infantry support and getting blasted apart by mines and ATGMs. It's the kind of shit show I would expect from the Saudis or the SAA, but apparently Azerbaijan isn't much better.

The Armenians have the better quality military, even though the Azeris have more advanced technology.

As the latest round of fighting shows.

And no, Armenia is not the “occupier”

what intentional law says about your pro - Kremlin narrative ?

On November 11, 1993, the UN Security Council adopted Resolution 884, condemning the recent violations of the cease-fire established between the parties, which resulted in a resumption of hostilities, and particularly condemning the occupation of Zangilan district and the city of Horadiz, attacks on civilians and bombardments of the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and demanding the unilateral withdrawal of occupying forces from Zangilan district and the city of Horadiz and the withdrawal of occupying forces from other recently occupied areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The UN General Assembly Resolution of March 14, 2008, covered legal, political and humanitarian aspects of the conflict and reaffirmed the principles of its settlement. These principles reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, expressing support for the country’s internationally recognized borders and demanding the immediate withdrawal of all Armenian forces from all occupied territories, reaffirmed the inalienable right of the Azerbaijani population to return to their homes, and reaffirmed that no state should recognize as lawful the situation resulting from the occupation of Azerbaijan’s territories, or render assistance in maintaining that situation. The resolution also recognized the need to provide secure and equal conditions of life for Armenian and Azerbaijani communities in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which would allow an effective democratic system of self-governance to be built up in the region within Azerbaijan.

“Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity”? The only reason Azerbaijan even has a claim is because some long dead communists drew a line on a map. In case you hadn’t noticed, a “effective, democratic system of self governance” doesn’t exist in Azerbaijan. The people of Nagorno-Karabakh want to remain part of Armenia, and at the end of the day that’s what really matters.

But hey, way to expose yourself as a Stalinist :sneaky:
