WaPo calls for term limits for Supreme Court justices

Legislators face elections, which can serve as term limits. Supreme Court justices don't. Thus, term limits for them make sense.

Electing judges is a terrible idea. They really need some semblance of impartiality.

Term limits for SCOTUS does not grant Democrats "absolute power" what the shit is this nonsense

Not a clue, except for the general sense that some Americans see their own shadow and shit themselves--and then for some reason that no one understands, they begin to look for their shadow every chance they get, so they can get scared and shit themselves some more.

The GOP has come to believe they have simething like a Divine Right to control the court.

It's odd how an unlikely Constitutional change somehow translates into absolute power of any kind for anyone.

It's almost as if some conservatives stand against our Constitution.

It's obviously hyperbole, but SCOTUS term limits hurts the GOP more than Democrats because right wingers are conservatives. At their core, they are against progress on many issues. That's basically what the word conservative means. So, entrenching a current-era conservative with current-era conservative thoughts for life lets them keep their little oppression fest going for longer. A "conservative" judge decades from now is a "liberal" judge today.
