It's a vicious circle. Has been for quite some time. Republicans give tax breaks for their wealthy corporate donors in exchange for large donations and lobbying that keeps them in office. Moscow Mitch actually said it just before the big tax cuts of 2017. He admitted that if they didn't pass the cuts, the donations were going to dry up.

Yes, a RHINO is a responsible republican. Very few left in the party. Most have left the party. This exodus started in 2000 when Junior organized teh crazies into a voting block and started to offer policies to pander to them.

The fact is unions protect most all workers union members or not. Unions keep the wage scales up thus those who want the best workers must meet that union wage scale to hire. Unions protect workers from
unfair employer practices.

Now Single Payer Insurance would be the absolute best insurance any worker could have because it would eliminate bankruptcies due to medical bills and would eliminate UNDER-INSURED polices the industry
shells out like drunken sailors. And would eliminate citizens from being denied medical care because they could not afford the coverage necessary. All of us would be paying into this coverage so that all of us could
have the best coverage ever........which also means this insurance is not free.
 
Essentially Walmart, Amazon, McDonalds, Dollar Tree, FedEx and others are billing taxpayers to support their workers. This is every reason to boycott these corporations. And to think
how many tax breaks and loopholes these corporations demand to avoid paying taxes. Remember Wal-Mart and Amazon are not the best prices always.....consumers get duped by their
advertising.

Don't want to use Fedex ..... use the post office. First Class mail is excellent service which is why USPS should never go to private corporations such as FedEX.

If these low skilled workers didn't work at Walmart, they wouldn't work at all.

When I owned a business, we paid our employees higher than average in our industry to get the best help. It always worked out to pay my staff well because they reciprocated with fewer days out, with increased effort and efficiency. You get what you pay for.

Many of our employees were low skilled and needed on the job training. I paid a bit more, gave 1 week of sick leave, paid holidays, and 2 wks vaca after one year employ. We even had group med insurance, not bad for a small business.
