Wake up House democrats

There does seem to be some hypocrisy or cognitive dissonance between well-off Democrats who can afford to live in walled-in homes and gated communities who are against the wall as being ineffective.

For sure. Evenmoreso when they willingly authorize, even argue for, security fencing around various targets in the Middle East which those in the Middle East seem to find quite effective in deterring unwanted intruders. Once Israel walled off the militant Palestinians, the all-too-frequent suicide and other bombings on their busses, in their crowded market places, highly damaging and/or deadly sabotage et al pretty well stopped happening at all.

Of course no fence or barrier will keep out everybody whether it is around our own property or a high security environment like the White House or a country. But they darn sure help and at least give the border patrol a lot more control of the situation.

It is time House democrats faced reality. The President wants the wall money. The Senate wants the wall money. The citizens of the country want the wall money.

A Harvard CAPS/Harris online survey of 1,407 registered voters conducted Dec. 24-26 found that 56 percent of those surveyed did not support a wall, while 44 percent did.

linkypoo...

Wake up not so logical1.

Ahhh … nope! Not true. One out of three isn't bad if you're talking about batting averages. AND it's about equal to trump supporters.

It is refreshing to discuss current American politics with a Trump supporter who is willing to acknowledge disagreements with at least some of what he says and does. Many aren’t, so thank you.

I can’t however, go along with your belief that any action is good action. Trump’s wall isn’t about making America safer, it’s about placating his base that ignorantly believes illegal immigration over our southern border is a national emergency, even though facts prove otherwise.

Aside from his pathologic need to be praised, the only things that motivate Trump are greed and hatred of those that don’t look like him. My belief is not based on any personal animus for Trump, but by his own words and actions.

Ultimately, the only thing we are in agreement on is ....

lol I figured you would say that. fair enough, we will agree to disagree about the other items. :)

The wall is just the first step in securing our border and fixing our immigration problem. A problem that is so out of control that we have literally 10's of millions of people in this country illegally. Millions of people with no respect for our immigration laws or the people of this country who make these laws does not make this country great. Just the opposite they are destroying this country like a cancer.

Let's hope & pray this new congress will move forward with fixing the problems that plague our country, bring this witch hunt to a conclusion, and stop the spread of hate that seems to be their only objective.
